“Your ass like Jesus feet, worth kissing”

“honey i’m home, but i’m just animal bones”

I think the first one is genius and i love animal bones due to the subject matter.

Been thinking about this one as well but I would have included “Your lips like bruised vulva”.

It was neither, it was Joey Dunlop

Just funny, that’s all.

Oh, and don’t forget “FanFuckingTastic” or sometimes it’s used in this context (at least on the dvd): “FanFuckingTastic Belfast”

These to me are practically lyrics to me. :p

You can find a couple of songs by T? that includes some german language either. Especially in some sample, e.g. Stories, Heavens gate, Hate Kill Destroy … I always thought what a funny fact that is. Another reason why I suggest Jeanny by Falco as the next song T? should cover. :)

In the begining sample of stories somebody says” Nummer Fünf bitte”. So far what I understand.
In the begining sample of Heavens Gate sombody mumbles about “Käsekuchen” if I understand it right.
The Intro of Hate, Kill and Destroy is a sample of the Movie “Die Blechtrommel”. Some says ” Was, meint ihr, wird aus diesem Kindlein werden ? Gutes ? Oder Böses ?”

I am to lazy to translate it for you. But use the search function of this board. I guess somebody mentioned this already in any other thread :p .

Cheers

E.

P.S. Unfortunately I dont know this song of Bloc Party.

Do you mean “We’ll both would be dead!” in the Stories is “Nummer Fünf bitte” and in Heaven’s Gate the only “word” that I came up is “God-father” in the middle of that sample?

“We’ll both would be dead!” <- I never heard that. I mean the first few secs of both songs. Maybe you are right. Even it is the wrong thread to discuss that does anyone know what they are saying at the begining of the songs ? I am pretty sure about the sample at stories, heavens gate is quiet difficult to understand.

Yeah, that bit at the beginning of Stories sounds like “Nummer fünf, bitte” to me but Käsekuchen? errrr, I know which bit you mean, there’s a fast talking man in the background but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t say “Käsekuchen”. ;) It’s very faint but I’m sure. I haven’t heard “We both would be dead” yet either.

The overall best lyrics as a whole has, imho, Unbeliever.
Andy captured there something which I could relate very much to at some point in my life.

Great lines are countless.

Some of my favourites are:
“I hate everyone but you, sometimes I even hate you too
when you make me see me as I am”
(Totally Random Man)

“Don’t know what’s worse, the loss of death or the gain of birth, I try to understand, I can’t accept just what I am”
(Stop it you’re killing me)

“You stormed heaven without god, you stormed heaven without thought”
(Turn)

“Here we are, I’m stuck here with you, you fence me in, I’ll turn on you”
(Polarbear)

“There’s one thing that I should remember
There is a light at the end of the tunnel”

“So don’t tell me everything’s alright
And don’t include me in your straight life
And don’t tell me everything’s alright
In your straight life”
(in fact, the whole song is a kick-ass!)

“I tried to walk it like I talk it
I tried to keep it in a straight line
You dragged me away
I know that this is going to get me
And someday I will pay
Someday, never, ever”

“A never ending chain of bitterness
You’re the judge, the jury, and the sentence
Before you send me down, I’m already there”

“I’m in hell and I’m alone”
—- followed by —-
“Maybe I’m in hell, maybe I’m alone
But I can deal with this, at least I feel at home”

:D

etc.

Damn, there’s just TOO MANY to mention!
