What is Therapy??

My mate Nick asked me this the other day and I was a bit stuck for a reply. What music catagory does T? fit in to?

Each album/song sounds completley different and each one fits into a different catagory which is one of the reasons why the T? is still so fresh and exciting.

Maybe you can only catagorise the albums. Nurse is Grunge, Troublegum is Rock, Infernal Love is Pop-rock, Semi-Detached is Alternative/Bubblegum Rock and Suicide Pact-You First is Punk Rock.
I haven’t heard the first two albums yet so I don’t know how they sound.
Wether or not you agree with the catagories I’ve put the albums into is up to you. But what would you describe them as being?

I would lonely catagorize T? as good music, however to describe their music to someone whose never heard them i would say-
Baby Teeth/Pleasure Death or Caucasion Psychosis sounds like hardcore punk with a melodic twist and other emotions involved in the music besides just disappointment and anger.
SPYF would be a heavier version of the above with more pf a rock twist.
Troublegum, I’d say sounds like Helmet but better and with emotion.
Nurse is the hardest to describe it sounds like nothing else I’ve ever heard, definitly not ‘grunge’ though. I won’t catorgorize it and I can’t really describe it either.
Infernal Love is a disappointment to me, it’s the onlt record I would never recommend to some one whose never heard T? I’d describe it as melodic rock with some industrial undertone to a few songs with a depressing feel on all the songs but loose.
Semi-Detached I’d describe in the same way as Infernal Love but without the disappointment and having a harder edge than everything on Ifernal Love. I recommend this record before anything else they’ve done. The emotion is excellent, alittle bit of everything, anger depression, happiness and so on.

If you think they are shit then why do you bother wasting your time as well as everybody else’s by hanging around on a message board that is dedicated to a band that you so obviously hate?

Are you mental?
Do you suck cocks for satans mum?
Or are you just lost?
