Heather Nova - Amsterdam

#

Started by Unbeliever

Anyone been there last saturday (the 27th october)? It was a nice gig but same as all Heather Nova shows.. She did a pretty good cover of BeeGees, Stayin’ Alive and that was pretty cool though :)
The support act was ‘I Am Kloot’. They walk up on stage and the singer says:’Hi, we’re I Am Kloot…We’re from Manchester, England.. How the fuck were we supposed to know what Kloot means here?!’ Pretty funny…
(Kloot comes from klootzak, which means asshole:)

In Dutch it has a negative meaning, it indeed comes from ‘klootzak’ (which is another word for ‘scrotum’). So kloot actualy means somthing like ‘testicle’.

Satanslittlehelper: Kloot doesn’t mean anything in english? Well they explained to us, it means something like ‘vague’. Maybe they made it up themselves, which seems to be the case, ‘cause there’s no entry for the word ‘kloot’ in dictionary.com
