when i was like 14, i used to live in portugal and i saw a comedy called ‘hercules returns’..at the time i thought it was hillarious..i don’t know if i would find it funny or not now. who knows though. basically they play an old hercules movie and they dub over it and have hercules say funny things.. it’ an australian movie. they don’t sell it anywhere in the u.s. but they do sell it in europe. which is no good for me because videos there don’t play in american vcrs.. if someone there in europe were to rent that movie and record it on a tape that’s compatible to american vcrs, i’ll make it worth your while. just let me know your price. and trust me you will get your money for doing it. brendon used to sell me therapy cds and singles all the time and i used to pay after and throw in a little extra. so that’s just to let you people know that i can be trusted. if someone can do this for me i’d appreciate it.

Pretty much any video place in the US can convert the tape from PAL to NTSC for you. It’d be just as easy for you to buy the PAL copy and have it converted here, because then you’d have the original tape and sleeve. Even the supermarkets where I used to live could do this for you.

You don’t change anything on your VCR. You take it to an American video store (not like Blockbuster, but a place that converts 8mm to tape etc…), and they can convert it from PAL format to NTSC. I would just use my credit card (since you’ll get the best exchange rate), buy it from HMV.co.uk and have it converted in America. Surprisingly cheap and easy.
