bonus tracks / mp3s

Started by Myk

Hey, does anyone have mp3s of Therapy?’s non-album tracks, or maybe a homemade CD of all those songs that I could buy a copy of? I am looking for:
Pantopon Rose, Evil Elvis, Summer of Hate, Human Mechanism, Sky High Mckay, Our Love Must Die, Nice Guys, Suing God, 60 Watt Bulb, Kids Stuff, Body O.D., Beefheart Albini, Multifuck, SWT, Here Is, Teenage Kicks, Come and Die, Diable, Jonestown Mind, Infidelity, and Brazen.
I have Bloody Blue.
Most of this stuff, I can’t get in the U.S. and even if I could it would cost me a fortune and I’d end up with a bunch of songs I already have. They should have released all this as a compilation instead of So Much for the Ten Year Plan.

You can get them all from most of the P2P networks, or I’ll see if I can mp3 them for you. I think it’s about time I took advantage of my cable connection and put up some new mp3s!

They are songs by Skunk Anansie. I think Martin played cello on them. Still, hardly an incentive to rush out and try and get them, is it?

…and Johnstown Mind is a song by The Almighty, which Andy remixed. Hardly a reason to put it on a CD of Therapy? songs!

Yeah, but at least Diable is cool as in it fits in nicely with the remixes of Therapy? songs and it has cool samples etc… Jonestown Mind is just an Almighty song, and that’s it. Same goes with the 2 Skunk Anansie tracks.

Really like that song, but it has almost nothing to do with T?.

Anyway, I think I found it at audiogalaxy or Kazaa.

I think the Pitchifter remix is also briljant… I think in 1994/1995 they started the gigs with it.

…and Diable is one of the weaker Tracks on the Pitchshifter Album it’s taken from. Cool Samples are everywhere on it, but why do Bands (Pitchshifter, Manic Street Preachers, Therapy?) use that stuff very rarely in their following songs?

I can make MP3’s of them and send them to you by MSN if possible. I prefer to use MSN to send large files. Just let me know.

Question!!!!

How do I make MP3’s of tracks released on vinyl format?
What do I do I need to hook up my record player to a PC.

I have everything except for a few promo’s and have also been
thinking about making a compilation CDR of their B-Sides….

you need a cable to connect your stereo to the soundcard of your pc (the shape of the cable depends from wich soundcard and wich stereo you have) and a software like cool edit to record the songs in .wav format.
then you can convert the .wav files in .mp3 files.

Thanks! Penn.

I didn’t realise it was that simple.
All I have to do now is download some software and make the time to actually do it….
