Worst Therapy? Songs

#

Started by hoochalobster (Sarah) Super Moderator

Following on from Tubbs’ thread, what Therapy? songs could you quite happily live without?

I think I’d be happy if they’d never covered CC Rider and I’ll never know what possessed them to record Bowels of Love - though both of these songs really make me laugh so it’s not all bad ;)

I wouldnt want to nominate any song. Each T? song is good in its own way, i cant think of two songs that sound the same

Bowels Of Love, God Kicks and Body Bag Girl make me get “Durchfall”… absolutely disgusting in my opinion.

Title: Body Bag Girl

Body Bag Girl should never have been written, nevermind recorded, nevermind released, nevermind released on an album. Dreadful muck!

Next is Deep Sleep - now this ball of shit is mingin’!

I can’t really think of a third song that’s bad enough to make this list, maybe Shitkicker cos it’s not the best, is it?

Epilepsy is the worst T? song? Everyone has the right to have an opinion of his/her own but reading stuff like that makes me think twice about freedom of speech. Sometimes censorship is essential.
As for the worst T? songs, to me these would be Body Bag Girl,
Alrite and Stalk & Slash.

I’m not too keen on their more ‘upbeat’ numbers. So Church of Noise or Loose get my vote.

Ten Year Plan? That one has a mean riff, it’s not the best T? song but it’s not the worst either! Thats just my opinion anyway. I agree with Body Bag Girl though.

I used to hate Tramline, but now I can actually appreciate it. Some bad songs are indeed CC Rider, With Or Without You, and in my opinion Hate, Kill, Destroy. I love Epilepsy, btw, am I the only one?

Body Bag Girl is okay, in my opinion, but not good!

I only really dislike Bowels of Love.
There are 1 or 2 others on the Babyteeth and Pleasure Death releases that aren’t that good, but I think that’s mainly down to production, and some of those early tracks sound a bit muddy.
Re-release ‘em I say, re-mixed etc.

My least favourites are probably “The Boy’s Asleep” which is ok in some moods but doesn’t fit in the album, and their cover of U2’s “With Or Without You” which quite simply just doesn’t work. “Bowels of Love” is alright since it fits in the mood of the album though it doesn’t quite stand on its own.
