I seem to remember that quote as well (somewhere in the deep dark recesses of my mind where i keep important bits of information), and i think on the acoustic version of 30 seconds (one of the b-sides on the Diane single) they do sing ‘there is no light’, once. I prefer that. Everyone’s entitled to their humble opinion!
PS. I don’t particularly like the lyrics to Loser Cop either, but i was waiting for someone else to say it first… ;)

I suspect that had something to do with David Holmes. The whole inbetweeny bits thing on Infernal Love annoyed me - how the hell are you supposed to do compilations?!

or you could pick up the Japan version of the disc… no “daved homes inbetweeny bits” and a couple of extra tracks (which i’m sure you have, but what the hell…)
