Can anyone tell me which Smiths album this song is on? I don’t know how to download songs anymore since Audiogalaxy so heartlessly failed me, so now I actually have to start buying music.

It’s on “The Queen Is Dead” album from 1986. It’s the same album that “The Smiths Is Dead” is based on. I actually like it more than the original. I really like performances by Billy Bragg, Therapy? and Supergrass. Some Girls are Bigger Than Others has a great chorus; “Some girls are bigger than others, some girls are bigger than others, some girls mothers are bigger than other girls mothers”. Ain’t it great..? ;-)

Some Girls… is one of the greatest songs of The Smiths. Other fave songs of mine are:
Handsome Devil
Frankly, Mr. Shankly
A Rush and A Push and The Land is Ours
Miserable Lie
You Just Haven’t Earned It Yet, Baby
I Want The One I Can’t Have

MOZ RULES!!!!

It’s an amazing version with an extra verse!
The guitar pickin’ is masterfull! I still can’t play it. It’s sooo fast.

My fave Smiths songs:
-There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
-Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me
-Well, I Wonder
-I Know It’s Over
-Asleep
-Rubber Ring
-Girl Afraid
-I Don’t Owe You Anything
-Some Girls…
-Still Ill
-Oscillate Wildly…
Okay I’ll stop.

Well, I’m here to represent the Smiths-hating portion of the population. I think they’re overrated and just not really that good.

Just my opinion!

They’re the best. Never wrote a dull song. They wrote 70 songs in about 4 years time. Morrissey lyrics are among the best.
