did anybody see our lady peace in london two weeks ago?
great show indeed.
they played at ULU but in the middle of their last song they had to stop cuz the fire alarm went off and we were asked to make our way out. still i couldn’t quite understand what happened and nobody (magazines, websites, radios) seem to have written or said anything about the accident. has anybody of you heard anything or managed to catch them on xfm radio the day after the gig?
my friend wrote to xfm and totalrock radio, see if they know what happened but those kind souls haven’t replied to her yet, aw

The review in Kerrang this week mentioned it, very briefly:

‘If it wasn’t for the fact that a fire alarm sends everyone onto the street during the encore, you get the feeling that they [the crowd] would listen to this band all night.’

yeah we would have been very pleased to listen to them all night, yes indeed. i can’t stop playing ‘Gravity’ (new album), a friend of mine from Canada sent it to me already.
only sorry that during that gig they didn’t play any song from ‘Happiness Is Not A Fish…’ which happens to be my fave OLP record.
Goddess knows if they’ll ever come back to the UK
