I totally love SP:YF - I’m surprised by the amount of people who weren’t keen on it. You’ve just inspired me to listen to it (plus it was the only CD which didn’t require me to leave my chair ;)) - My favouite track is Sister. I don’t know if I’d call it the best rock album ever but then I’m not sure I could ever decide on one album - it’s definitely up there amongst the best though.

no, not drunk, it’s just my opinion…

ya, sister is great, but for some reason wall of mouths is really doing it for me today… and i’ve always thought other people’s misery was the worst t? song ever, but it’s not bothering me as much today…

as for the best rock album ever, i don’t know, it could be, IMO… i can’t think of anything that matches it’s intensity… no other album i own makes me want to destroy things more then this one does… isn’t that what rock is about? hehe…

I think Big Cave In is the only track that bugs me - I do quite like it I just think it’s a bit too long (I know Six Mile Water is longer but it’s not as intense and heavy on the ears, lol)

God Kicks has has a pretty bad rap but I think it’s good and strangely fits into the album really well.

p.s. I’m not drunk either :)

I’m not sure about the best rock album part but I totally agree with you about it being the best T? album (although closely followed by the others in my list).

I can’t really figure out why I like it so much though. The whole sound of the album is just great.

No really, we’re just giving our opinions and it’s *our* opinions. What you think of it doesn’t matter.
And ha ha, I don’t even care what you think.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: SP-YF is *BY FAR* my least favourite T? album! There’s only 3 or 4 songs worth listening (Little Tongues First, Wall of Mouths, Jam Jar Jail, Sister), the rest is just filler. I’ve never liked it, and I never will. I’m actually surprised many of you rate it as your favourite T? album.

B. you immediately start to insult

But nevermind.
I understand why some dislike SP-YF and would rate it less than the earlier albums - it’s hard to top such gems as Nurse, Babyteeth, Troublegum etc.

I really can’t explain why I like SP-YF better than those albums

sorry i can’t respect people with your taste in music…by the way, were you the same person who made the nickelback rules thread? or was that some other person on here with bad taste in music?

And you just happen to know my taste in music by the fact that I give my opinion about one album? Wow, that’s great!

And no, didn’t made the nickelback thread. Don’t really like them, although I don’t think you have bad taste if you do like them..

People on this board more than others are the most tolerant people I’ve discussed stuff with. That’s why I bother. I know I don’t post much stuff anyway, but all this negative stuff…bletch !!
Check out the Metallica boards if you want to see some purile drivel.
“Hey man, u r a looza cus you like Pantera. They suk.” etc ad infinitum…
Some people on this board have mentioned bands I may not like, but what the hey. They may not like bands I do.
Black Sabbath
Megadeth
Soundgarden
Manics
Terrorvision
The Almighty
blah blah…

SPYF shit? yeah…whatever…

the worst thing about T’vision is just how unappreciated they are - can’t think of many bands that have released 5 albums without at least 1 being substandard and they managed it (although I’ve not listened to Formaldehyde much).

Suicide Pact is a difficult album to hear. The guitars are way too distorted and Andy’s vocals sound, well, weird. It’s like you hear a T? rehearsal and not a ‘real’ album. I think Suicide Pact is a great album because i have never heard a band sound like that. It’s really unique. If you like to hear clean-cut productions and normal music, you aint gonna like it. So ixx, go listen to your crap and leave us alone. Suicide Pact is not a bad album, it’s a different album. The only bad T? album in my opinion is Shameless.

I’ve always thought this about Terrorvision.
Great band.
Bloody great name for a band too I reckon.

All the chat in the 90’s was like “who’s best? Blur, Oasis or (insert band here)” and I’m like…what about the Terrors? Great gigs too.

Having said that, their last album “Good To Go” had to have the WORST album cover ever. Yuk! Even worse than Paranoid !
