Morning!

Not a very important thread, but i thought i’d just tell you about my weekend! I went to see the Vandals in Liverpool - not because i particularly like them, but because i won a stupid competition i’d forgotten i’d even entered. So i had to go buy a couple of their albums and listen to them really quickly so i could at least pretend to know their songs. Anyway, the concert was really cool and i got to go backstage afterwards and hang out with the band, which was fun. They weren’t very interesting though - just a bunch of people who sit around drinking cheap beer and playing Tony Hawke (and doing psychic mind tricks, strangely enough), but never mind. Eventually their tour manager kicked us out, so we went and annoyed the support band instead, who were in a different bus.

The problems really started when they wouldn’t let us on their bus unless we showed them our boobies. I don’t know how i get into these situations, but there we were in a carpark in Liverpool at three in the morning, freezing cold and arguing with a bunch of americans about whether we would flash them in return for going on the bus and getting warm (and stealing their beer, natch). They must have been car salesmen in another life or something, because they eventually convinced us! So they got some photos of boobies, and we got to hang around on their bus until the tour manager found us and kicked us off, again.

So that was my weekend, and once again i found myself without my damn underwear. Although being semi-naked in a carpark in Liverpool is a new experience, even for me.

Okay, sorry that was a pointless thread, i just wanted to tell someone about my cool weekend and i don’t think any of my other friends would approve!

Uhm, no offense, but I do NOT think this is something to be very proud of, showing your boobs off( no matter how nice they might be)! And for those American arseholes…well, they just underline what I think of that people…

Oh, of course i’m not proud of it, and i certainly wouldn’t recommend it to any young and impressionable people out there! :D I thought it was pretty funny though. Also (and not wanting to offend anyone here), i think it was more to do with them being male than being American!

:D Well, since there were three of us, i guess technically it should have been ‘booby booby booby booby booby booby’, but that’s a bit of a long subject line…

I would certainly be proud - surely the whole point of having boobs is to gain free entry to clubs / tour buses / fit blokes’ bedrooms? :D

I suspect the menfolk are just jealous cause they can’t employ this tactic themselves (apart from certain mates of mine who have been known to try “She’ll flash if you let us in”).

Sounds like a top night anyway, well done on winning the competition. I always win lame things - a Britney Spears standee and computer game, a BBC book about weather - and the one time I did win something cool (a pair of tickets to go see the wrestling) I couldn’t bloody go :(

I won two prices actually in primary school, one was for making the best pile of matches on an empty (!!) beer bottle, and one for making the most points with a ball attached with a thread to a cup, I don’t know the English name for it. Yes my friends, I was no match for my opponents that day!

It’s always so disappointing to not get this reaction when you, as a bloke, flash.

So disappointing - in fact, that what the girls said!

Women have been know to use the ‘She’ll flash you if you let us in’ tactic as well! Whenever we have my friend Laura with us (that’s her in the photo next to me) we tend to throw her at the bouncers and make a run for it.

Hooch - what wrestling were you going to go see??

Incidentally, if that picture link isn’t working, all the pictures are up on my website - http://www.angelfire.com/freak/rakiek/index/pics.html (cheap plug!)

It was in Sheffield, a kind of “reunion” show with loads of ye olde wrestlers, nobody who’s still in WWE, lol. Still, it would have been a good laugh. I gave the tickets to a friend’s l’il bro and he had a great time even though he hadn’t even been born when these guys were famous, heh heh.

well, what an exciting day yesterday was - the highlight being when my friend knocked on my door and I realised I’d mis-set my alarm - so only had tome to get dressed, no shave, no breakfast. And to top it all, I left my calculator in Pontefract, ugh!
An accountant without a calculator, I am lost…

Hope you had a good (and warm) day yesterday :)

There quite possibly is one as they used to make pontefract cakes (urgh) there, so Haribo may well have a factory there. But somehow I had you down as more of a Cadbury’s World girl…

can’t really do too much work. Hooray!

Mmmmmm, Cadbury’s… well, i guess any kind of chocolate is good, but Happy Haribo is just my favourite thing in the world. I can eat whole bags of them at a time (except the sour ones - a tried eating a whole bag of those and it made me ill). Damn, now i’m hungry…
