We all have bands that are amazing but unheard of so how about we post their names, what kind of music they are and a site where we can hear what they sound like - Spread the word!

Psycore - hard to define (class themself as Psycadelic Hardcore) - see for yourself. Amazing live.
http://www.psycore.com - (check out tracks The Zoo, Medication, I Go Solo)

Groop Dogdrill - classed as ‘New Metal’ but they are more hard rock.
http://www.groopdogdrill.com - no sounds here yet but check them out on Napster

Foil - sound a bit like Dogdrill - more poppy but fuckin ace
http://www.mutelibtech.com/mute/thirteen/foil/foil.htm

My Vitriol - post grunge Foo Fighter esque band (STARTING TO GET BIG)
http://www.MYVITRIOL.CO.UK

Hobotalk - bluesy kinda thing.
I havnt found a website yet

Check them out - tell me what you think and leave your bands - lets get these bands big (but not too big)

Depending on your location, you may or may not have heard of:

Matthew Good Band—I just can’t hawk these guys enough. http://www.matthewgoodband.com

Beta Band—A great trip-hop sound that’ll give me something to listen to now that Soul Coughing has broken up.

Econoline Crush—I’ll put an mp3 on my site soon so you can all hear them once.

I suppose that’s enough from me. I could probably write for days about ‘obscure’ bands, but I’ll keep it at that.

GODSPEED YOU BLACK EMPEROR! - 9 piece from Montreal with violins, cellos, distorted guitars and stuff. They’re a bit like Mogwai, but in truth i’ve never heard anything like them. Their EP ‘slow riot for a new zero Kanada’ is their best release, got in Andy Cairn’s top records of last year.

AND YOU WILL KNOW US BY THE TRAIL OF DEAD - have a cool name, quite grungey
