What songs should be played on the next tour?

Have to say im a bit tired of hearing the same songs over and over again when I see them. Id love to hear alot more LP tracks and a little less of the singles. Anyone agree?

Yep. I don’t need to hear Nowhere to make it a good gig… Their gig at Ocean was good — 8/9 songs off Shameless — that was a nice surprise. So maybe they wil do the same off High Anxiety.

But I still like the idea of Therapy? supporting themselves — coming on as a support band, and doing a short set of B-sides and older tracks never played any more…

I can do without the likes of Die Laughing, Nowhere, Chuch Of Noise, Diane etc…

Imagine hearing a Perversonality, Misery, Punishment Kiss etc…

A few surprises in their set wouldn’t go astray.

Bit more off of SP-YF wouldn’t go amiss.

This One’s for You
The Boy’s Asleep
Gimme Gimme Gimme (a Man after Midnight) - emailed the band about this last time they toured properly, and got a reply from Martin saying it depended how brave they were feeling)
Misery
Um, probably several others. This is almost certainly an incomplete list.

If they don’t play Unbeliever, I’ll stick Michael’s bass up his ass :D

And if they play Punishment Kiss, Meat Abstract, Dancin’ With Manson, Innocent X,… I think I will wet my pants :D

It’s easy to put together lists like this — and that’s not including any High Anxiety songs..!

wasn’t that your plan anyway? ;-)

and for the rest: it would be nice to hear denim demon, big cave in, accelerator and any song from the babyteeth&pleasuredeath-era again.

1 hour the new songs and one hour old stuff!

well, i know the guys will drop dead then…but and?…

but one thing is sure for me: when they don’t play “rust” michael will not only have his bass in his ass..it will be followed by andy’s guitar, martin’s cello and to make it a bit more hurt a drumstick too!!! :D

Will that be all in Michael’s ass?
or Andy’s guitar in Andy’s ass, and so on? Otherwise I’d feel sorry for Michael’s ass…

I’d love them to play animal bones, skyward, skinning pit, perversonality, our love must die, 30 seconds, don’t expect roses, Tango Romeo, dance, evil elvis, dance, totally random man, SISTER and of course lot’s of high anxiety…

Saw T? playing “The Boy´s Asleep” once in Hamburg, it was their last song and Andy jumped into the audience…
That was a magic moment!

Yes, he is.
The funny thing about it was, that (for just 1 second) I was thinking about taking the microphone out of A.J.Cairns´s hand, to tell my companions, that I just touched the singer of T?.

Well… then I woke up again and thought that it might be a better idea just to touch Andy´s shoulder and grin!

And of course I told this story 100´s of times… Hehe.

Title: Here’s my dream setlist for Vienna Austria (not knowing the new songs yet)

1. Stop It! You’re Killing Me
2. Nausea
3. Hellbelly
4. Tightrope Walker
5. Stories
6. A Moment Of Clarity
7. Knives
8. Gimme Back My Brain
9. Black Sky, Purple Eye/This One’s For You
10. Femtex
11. Straight Life
12. Heaven’s Gate (why do they never play this great song?)
13. Unrequited
14. Lonely, Cryin’ Only
15. Die Laughing
—————————-
16. He’s No That Kind Of Girl
17. Don’t Expect Roses
18. Nowhere
—————————-
19. Potato Junkie
20. Denim Demon
21. Screamager
22. The Boy’s Asleep (the best last song for a T?-concert ever with Andy crowdsurfing!)

Other songs I’d love to hear live (again): Epilepsy, Suing God, 60 Watt Bulb, Kids Stuff, Vicar In A Tutu, Jam Jar Jail, Wall Of Mouths, Little Tongues First, Dance, Tango Romeo, Opal Mantra, Isolation, Breaking The Law

Songs they could skip IMO: Teethgrinder, Diane, I Am The Money, Loose

P.S.: I also touched Andy’s shoulder once. He was pretty scared I guess, because he didn’t see anyone behind him.

The thread seems to have changed a little. On SP-YF at Manchester, i touched the strings on Michaels bass as he was playing, fucking hell that sounds really sad for a Monday morning!! Micheal had a tendency not to throw his plectrum into the crowd, so I nabbed one when he put the microphone over the crowd for Screamager, god I just get worse:)
I’ll start another thread off I think
