I’m not French, but I’ll give a go. Apologies for mistakes.

Every time T? releases an album, you tend to say, “Do they still exist?”. Indeed, T? don’t haunt the Top 50 any longer, but the band continues to release albums regularly, with the previous being Shameless, at the end of 2001. Whereas this last album explored paths of punk rock, High Anxiety returns to things more rock ‘n’ roll, along the lines of what made them successful during the Troublegum era. Despite being very different from what the band have done in the past, this new album is recognisable as Therapy? on first listening. With very strong pieces such as “Hey Satan - You Rock”, “Watch You Go” and “My Voodoo Doll” etc, Therapy? could return to the forefront of rock. Very personal compositions, avoidance of fashionable cliches, heady choruses, killer melodies, unbelievable pace (?)… All ingredients which make this album EXCELLENT, and one that deserves your attention. You will not regret it!

I don’t think i’d mind if they went too far back towards Troublegum-type songs, but then i would say that because Troublegum’s always been my favourite album (and i don’t care what anyone else here sez! :D) Thanks for posting that review - i can’t wait High Anxiety comes out… i’ve got it marked on my calender in big letters… and on everyone else’s calender as well so they can remind me. :D I think that X-Men 2 is coming out the same week as well - argh, how happy am i?? :D
