Yeah yeah. As I always say. Dont trade, share. We are community, remember? Besides selling sounds much less sympathic than trading. All the coins should be in T? pocket… Ey, never mind me, man. But get the stuff at the FTP as well. Life is a bitch, dont be the same ;)

PS: I see that u have some nice T? stuff. Once more - please consider the FTP option…

Well I would prefer to trade…you know collecting bootlegs can be really expensive…I spent money, time, energies…whatever you want…I’ll try to be fair, but consider my thought…believe me for going on with my collection, I need something in trade…I don’t wanna seem a bad person, believe me TRADING HAS ITS COSTS…

Well the trick is - you dont just upload on the FTP, u also download from it. The trick is getting more traders into it :). Only then they see the advantage.(I send u this stuff, u send me… Or Well, man, Iål be posting this tonight, post your piece as well… And not only is the trade done but also a lot of smuggly fuckers who have nothing to trade but love the band can enjoy the music. And it´s the music this is all about, isn´t it?). If lot of fans use the FTP, then perhaps there will be ¨more of them soon and that would mean faster connection which would allow larger files (better quality)… I know it cost u quid and energy but think of all the advantages- if u upload your stuff in say 128-192 kbit compressed quality, the ppl who´ll like the boots might contact u to buy the real thing… But no, myself I wouldn´t know anything about merchandise :)

Besides cd-r discs, envelopes, and postage, I’ve never spent any money on trading, and certainly never asked money for it. I don’t think you should ask money for it, as it also goes against the band’s own wishes.

I prefer the “oldfashioned” way of trading. I totally understand people who has nothing to trade and their frustration, but we all started from scratch, right? So it’s equal to everyone. Not to say the same about the FTP. I believe that there is no such thing as free lunch, somebody always pays for it… I understand that it is million times easier to share files on the internet but I have always enjoyed recieving packets containing T? stuff, they are more personal than a downloaded file.
Also I like to see videos from telly and not from a tiny-tiny-tiny little window in computer.
It’s everybody own personal choice to weather to choose trading or downloading and everybody’s should respect that nevermind what it is.

1) Surprisingly, there is such a thing as free lunch. But that´d be in a community of friends, in a family-like or otherwise close society. And yes, Neat is the one actually paying for the FTP (or his connection or whatever…)
2) Ppl who have nothing dont necessarily have to be frustrated. It is probable they dont give a shit and they are not in for the trade and they never will be. But they like the music.
3) Trading and selling aren´t equal.
4) If you are doing it, because of the music, then it´s only natural that you want to share it, for that means not only sharing the physical stuff but also the experience. It is natural that you actually want the other fans to hear “this piece because it is absolutely brilliant”.
5) So what´s the prob? Are you afraid that you´d get shortened on some profit? Or the fact that you are not getting anything back right the moment you give? Those are some pretty fucked up principles that only appeared with currency. Only then the need (and the opportunity of fullfilment) began to lessen. Still again (!) - win/win or give/get principles don´t apply within families, among friends or close communities.

Well I´ve said my part - some piece of shit that seems to be. I still think traders don´t loose if they share. But man, it is always up to you.

You are right…anyway I think some people have nothing to trade…and in a way I think it’s fair starting them into trading…maybe I’m wrong in selling my stuff, but who is into trading knows that it may be so expensive…I don’t wanna make money I just want to save some money for trading hardly…maybe I’m wrong anyway, then FORGET MY PROPOSAL…

First of all, nothing personal, just my thoughts.
If the taper sells his own Masters, it’s OK, coz he has to buy the equipment, MDs or even DATs, and this makes the taping really expensive, but if you have no your own masters, you don’t have a RIGHT to sell the recordings. If you sell someones recordings is piracy, this means you just steal the recordings to make your own profit. Fuch that people.
I think it’s really easy to trade or even to download the stuff and then sell it. If you wish to sell something, just ask 3-4 euros for a CD-R, i think this sum completely covers your costs, especially if you want to share the stuff.
Anyway if someone has problem with money, the best solution - find a job.
Personally, i don’t sell anything, i started my collection without nothing, but now i have 100+ T? live recordings. But i don’t want to upload any of my recordings, because of people who download and sell/trade live recordings saying they’re OK, not mp3-sourced or something.
If you really want to get something you’ll get it, just be smart ;)
