I’ve no idea what they recorded - I just read about it in Andy’s diary. They were going in today (Thursday) to record it.

Last night I tuned in, Tom played “If It Kills Me” and said the session was on Tuesday.

Not sure if it’s just Andy or the whole band though.

The first song Andy played was a cover of Bad Moon Rising.

The songs were ok but it was a pity we had to sit through so much shite to hear them.

I like Pet Sounds. Was a great show overall, nice variety/ the session was ok. Not great, the songs sounded a little flat. Maybe it was just the recording, I dunno.

I was expecting at least 3 or 4 songs, but just 2?

Listening to 3 hours of Tom Dunne’s show for 2 songs is a little much, especially the last hour when he could have said “that’s it for T? songs tonight” instead of keeping me hanging over my stereo with my finger over the record button! I know he wants to keep listeners, but that was a bit much.

My recording didn’t come out too great either, there was a bit of “crackling” that I couldn’t get rid of. :(

Also, “Bad Moon Rising” was a poor choice. There’s much better Creedance songs out there, especially acoustic.

Guys, how could you grade the quality of your recordings?

Would’ve been perfect apart from the slight crackling - but I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so maybe I’m being too harsh :)

99% of people with my recording would consider it excellent.

It was alright but listin to the radio with my phaser set to record for 3 hours is takin the piss and only 2 songs, bugger that. I enjoyed the cover, its better than nothin I suppose. I won a copy of SP-YF when Mr C was on the show last time, nice.

Yeah i agree with you i was expecting at least 3 songs,i thought there might have be one more song in the final hour.I can’t remember now but did Tom Dunne even mention the name of T?’s new album on the show?

No, he didn’t. Makes it a waste of Andys time, from Andys own point of view. The reason bands do sessions/press etc, is to promote a new album. No mention of any new album, plus the fact Andy did a few acoustic songs (nothing like the new album), makes his effort seem a bit redundant.

:(
