Won’t be too confident of a chart position - I didn’t even buy mine in Ireland! That’s how fucked up music shops are in my area.

There’s still loads of copies on all the shelves around Cork. I know for a fact that it sold 3 copies. You only need to sell about 500 to get to no.1 in Ireland though

The Album had a fairly good placing in HMVs around England. Although not in the Rock Section.

Yeah, but if you look at all the stuff above it, NOFX excepted, it’s all stuff that got into the upper reaches of the chart - like Foo Fighters (no.1) etc. So that’s encouraging that T? could sell nearly as much as all these bands that are playing arenas at the moment etc, isn’t it?

That’s logical as the charts are made up on Wednesdays, i.e. two days after the release. Only if hundreds or thousands of people pre-order a CD or buy it in the first two days, it will be in the same week’s charts.

But you’re right with the second part, i guess…

Which is, quite frankly, bizarre behaviour when not-so-heavy bands such as Yerrorvision are in the Rock section. Someone at HMV hasn’t been doing their homework.
