Started by tatty seaside town

i´ve found an old live record from 92 …

set list

Nausea
Perversonality
Innocent X
Auto Surgery
Disgraceland
Neck Freak
Accelerator
Teethgrinder

it´s really flashy … they sounded much harder and played every song more to the point and much faster :)
Very good!

It looks like the London Astoria gig from the “Live In England” bootleg. It cuts after Teethgrinder and is taken direct from the vinyl. It plays too fast and isn’t as good quality as the “I Want My Money Back” bootleg.

It was a very cool show though.

There was another bootleg too which combined a really shite recording of Donnington 94 with the Astoria gig, is this the same one that you’re on about?

I’ve got a copy of the new years gig from ‘98 in the POINT in Dublin but the end of it just trails off half way through Potato Junkie… Anyone know why? or where I could get a full version… I’ve been told Andy gives a little speach after the last song…!!!!!

They only played the Point once, that was 28/12/95

It was a totally live radio broadcast, but the radio station cut it short in the middle of “Potato Junkie”, presumably ‘cos of the amount of unpatriotic “James Joyce is fucking my sister” lines :)

Screamager is missing too, ‘cos they finished with that.
There may be a full audience recording, but there definately isn’t a full soundboard/FM version.

Yep! Support bands were Mexican Pets, Joyrider & Ash

That gig was back in the pre “barrier at gigs” days, when venues were allowed hold more people.

Making the fact Therapy? played there all the more impressive.

What kind of gig was that? Straight Life and Meat Abstract. Was that the gig were the band dedicated it to Fyfe?

@Ronald, I agree that “Again & Again” played in ‘95 is better than what it became - “Stay Happy”

The same happened to “New Song In D/My World” played in 1996. It became “Joey” but I perfer the older version.

I scare myself too :D

So much so, that I’ve decided to store most of my bootlegs in a box at my parents house. My flat is getting too packed with cdrs everywhere… it’s time to cool it!

…and no, I’ve no idea how many gigs Fyfe has played. But Graham, on the other hand…

;)

Wow! I wish some of these songs would still be on the setlist today (Tightrope Walker, Lonely, Cryin’, Only, Turn, Unbeliever, etc.)

I had this as an mp3 for a year or so and I never realized it’s an early version of “Stay Happy”. I like “Stay Happy” better, though.
