Belfast Setlist

#

The setlist so far on this tour has been okay but this is for the DVD - do we think they will have a different setlist for this gig?

What are the LIVE tracks which most need recording for posterity? I think perhaps this list will not be the same as the 10 Year Plan Retrospective, we’re talking about the ultimate gig, not album…

To be honest I’ve had a few so I’ll reserve my thoughts for now :p

If they only play Teethgrinder once this year, let it be in Belfast.

3 words - LONELY, CRYIN’, ONLY

Never was there a better song. It’s both tuneful and powerful. Has fantastic lyrics. An amazing singalong chorus. I think it captures Therapy? perfectly, especially live.

Other tracks I think would suit the DVD include: -
Safe
Sister
Little Tongues First
Hellbelly
Turn
Jam Jar Jail
Jude the Obscene
Misery

Let’s be honest here.

These songs will all be on the DVD:

Screamager, Nowhere, Die Laughing, Stories, Diane, Church Of Noise & If It Kills Me

After that, is anyone’s guess.

I think they should play every single song they’ve ever done, then choose which ones should go on the DVD! Ok, it’ll be a long gig..but what the hell!

Of course, if they did that they could then choose several songs and stick out different DVD’s! Or just release the same DVD with 5 different covers and call themselves Metallica!

Ooh…feel the sarcasm! Whatever, I think this gig’s gonna be great whatever they play, chances are most of the material will focus on the stuff they’ve recorded for Spitfire though!

I hope they play some older material for the Belfast gig.

Would like to hear Teethgrinder, Opal Mantra, Knives to name but a few but some older stuff like Meat Abstract, Dancin’ With Manson and Potato Junkie would be great too.

Lonely Cryin’ Only would be brilliant. It used to be quite a regular bit it seems it hasn;t been played so much lately. Although they did play it quite often when touring Shameless as far as I know.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:

More SP:YF! He’s Not That Kind Of Girl! Ten Year Plan! Sister!

And Bad Karma and Fat Camp too!

I am thinking that perhaps the set list for this legendary gig shall be altered to incorporate each phase of t?’s music , because of it beeing filmed for the DVD?
