does anybody really wants to hear the singles?

i think the real fans out there wouldn´t be pissed off if they didn´t play nowhere, screamager, church of noise, stories etc … instead they could do other songs …
i think the real fans heard them live enough and those people who go to their concerts just to hear some of the singles, aren´t really the “real fans”!?

what was really the point of asking us our favourite songs (which they never played live), when they just play “potatoe junkie” a song they probably played each time since 95 when i saw them the first time …
(fyfe ruled! *g*)
straight live got 2 and evil elvis 4 and i didn´t read in any suprise songs in the set list in here from the current tour.

i think the set list is a bit boring to me (i don´t mean the songs from HA!)

well i think a lot of these points were raised in other threads, but as far as i can remember potato junkie won that poll thing followed by teethgrinder, so its no wonder that song was played live. i think songs that are already live staples should have been discounted from the poll results, but am sure this opinion has been voiced before!

Spoke to Michael after the gig in Paris and they will most likely organize a new poll… only this time Therapy? picks 10 songs for which people can vote (and Teethgrinder will definatetly NOT be one of them).

Yeah, but do the “not really real fans” not outnumber the hardcore? And they paid the same for their tickets - it’s not surprising when a band try to play a set that will please most of the audience, especially when they aren’t multi-millionaires.

i don’t understand why people are moaning about the set-lists. when i go to a gig, it’s because i love the band. there are a number of bands that i’ve seen dozens of times, but i don’t expect them to play a particular setlist purely for my benefit. fair enough, variation is the spice of life, but i’m sure bands have enough to worry about, without fans moaning about the setlists.

surely the band should play what they want to play, that way they are more likely to play with more passion and enthusiasm.
