I also hate any band/group that tries to be something they’re not like 5’s ‘Everybody get up’, etc.

Nirvana were way better than the Foo’s no doubt about it. Grohl’s ‘The Colour And The Shape’ is one of the shitest songs that I’ve ever heard, EVER!!!. Also his voice is too soft for my liking especially on the first 2 albums. The only Foo songs I can stand are ‘Monkey Wrench’, ‘Learn To Fly’ and ‘Up In Arms (Slow version)’.
I like ‘Marigold’ as well but wether or not that’s classed as a Nirvana or Foo Fighter song I don’t know.

Andy Cairns, Kurt Cobain, Billie Joe Armstrong and Evan Dando are rock legends of the 90’s. RESPECT!!!

Try to convince the other party of your thoughts & ideas and have a good discussion about it. That’s all. No name calling.

Sure, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath,… and a lot more bands influenced other bands. But that still leaves the possibility that someone loves T?, but doesn’t like Iron Maiden at all for example. Like myself. But if someone does like them, go right ahead and listen to them. But also respect the fact that I don’t. That’s what I meant with opinions are like assholes: everyone has one.

Anyway, I hope this made some sense. I’ll stop rambling now.

I aint just talking about Metallica either there are loads of other Metal bands that people say have lost it, a good example is Motorhead, yet are still going strong in this day and age when they are in their 50’s.
