the brilliance of ‘Infernal Love’

I have been listening to ‘Infernal Love’ quite a lot this year, especially over the past few days. I remember being quite put off the album at the time because of the stupid moustaches and suits that Therapy? wore.

It’s amazing that you can forget how great an album is over time. ‘Infernal Love’ really is an amazing album. The singles were all great. My favourite tracks are ‘Bad Mother’ and ‘Me vs You’. I also love the intro to ‘Moment of Clarity’.

I definitely think ‘Infernal Love’ out-shines most albums that get released now. Or am I deluded?

i think the older version is much better …
(live version on shock treatment where its called “your disease)
on the album its just to much of effects on it …
bad mother, a moment of clarity and loose are my favourite tracks on it

Some of the linking parts are ok, but it just disrupted the flow for me in parts.. I think the ending bang after 30 seconds in particular wasn’t needed.

if it makes you feel any better melvin, i remember Andy saying in an interview that “jude the obscene” was probably his favourite song from that album, along with “bowels of love” (yuck!).

jude is probably my fav also.

Well, I really like at T? that none of their almbus is the same as the previous ones. It was the same for me with Infernal Love. It was much different from Troublegum and took me a little time to like it. But this is it. (compare it to the albums by bands like Green Day or Rammstein - same sounds, same riffs and so on).All the song on IL are still good after many listenings. That’s why IL is one of the best albums I ever heard!

They kind of stuck in my head for about a year until I finally bothered to download the song. I loved it from the beginning. Finally found it, instantly loved it. “A Moment of Clarity” remains my favorite Therapy? song.
