I love Tsunami. I had a dream where I was in a mental asylum and I wasn’t allowed to listen to Tsunami because it was responsible for making me insane but I did anyway and they had to sedate me with white stuff that smelled like Fructis shampoo and conditioner in one.

Can you actually smell stuff you’re dreaming of? That’s quite special, you know. You should know this then: what fruit does Fructis remind you of?

Plum. I think. It’s a weird shampoo - it makes you say to yourself; “what does this shit smell of?” :-)

Fructis shampoo smells like apricot, Fructis conditioner smells like oranges and weirdness. But Fructis shampoo and conditioner in one is different, it smells like jam or sometimes marmalade. And if you use it too often your hair starts to smell like candy floss.

I still can’t see why Generation Terrorist has been praised so much. It’s a real drag.

Really? Only Motorcycle Emptiness and Slash ‘n Burn are wortwhile. I think its a turkey. Considering a song as ‘Repeat’. I don’t even know the other by name…I’m gonna listen tonight…Give it a try (again).
But the British press seems to hail all debut albums so much (Radiohead, Suede example)

Funny, I never liked Holy Bible and I think that’s the overrated album. Only decent song is Faster. However I really have liked ALL the other albums, even Know Your Enemy though I haven’t listened “properly”…

Holy Bible had dreadful reviews, i believe. It’s very much over the top. Hehe.
Songs like “Die In The Summertime”, “Of Walking Abortion”, “4st 7Lb”, “Archives Of Pain”, “Revol” ahhhhh…there are so full of uglyeness. Hmmmm. Besides that its fun to play along with. ;-)

Title: Manic Street Preachers (merged)

Anyone else here like them? They are releasing a collection B-side,covers and rarities soon called Lipstick Traces - A Secret History of Manic Street Preachers. The first cd is b-sides and the 2nd disc is a collection of cover versions.I think they are a fantastic band and have made six very different sounding albums.James Dean Bradfield has a great voice. The Holy Bible album is my favourite, they are heading off to record their new album in America Nicky Wire said its going to be a ten track album he described the album as “Elegaic pop”.

You can download a ‘new’ MSP track from this site http://staybeautiful.net/ Judge Yourself was the last track the band worked on as a foursome,it was originally intended for the Judge Dredd soundtrack but then Richey disappeared and they never submitted it.It sounds fantastic its quite similar to the sound of The Holy Bible album.

man, they used to be complete skag heads, i’m surprised they ever got anywhere!

“some band” i was a roadie for, back in ‘90/’91, supported them in some pub in Leeds. they were shite; completely off it on smack; did a headline set of 30 minutes, then fucked off. they were absolute garbage for those 30 minutes too!

they seemed to get good when the loser did his disappearing act. how strange…
