female vocalists

does any one think that some bands who have female vocals are sometimes shadowed by them take the pop sorry rock singer avril lavighne for example she goes on about her band but truley she steals the fame from them.

its not allways female vocalists though ozzy osnourne i think has taken the lime light away from the band i think.

them again its just my opoinion.

They’re obviously trying to appeal to both (teenage ;) ) genders, although I think the woman is more fancied to be fair.

Absolutely! The first album was by far their best work, imho. Have to say I never liked Weak though, because it was such a rip-off of Cecil’s Fishes.

It was all a bit suspicious at the time, because Cecil were touring with SA and wrote Fishes while they were on tour. Then, soon after, SA come up with a song which is virtually the same and it’s the only song on the album that the band wrote entirely by themselves. I think it actually went to court but it was years ago so can’t remember details.
