I want another tattoo and I want a questionmark somewhere, I did the drawing and I showed it to him and he just said “don’t even think about it”…well, ok, I’ll do it the same and if he’ll leave me for this I think I’ll kill him :D

I think tattoos are very personal and you shouldn’t have one or not have one for somebody else’s sake. I have a gemil and I love it :D

My mum is the most anti-tattoo person in the world but her boyfriend keeps getting more done and she’s always mad at first but then forgives him. You could try his trick of having it done somewhere random like the back of your leg where she’s unlikely to notice! I’m sure your girlfriend will get over it anyway :)

I think i will go for it but I really love her and when she has something in her head she keeps it their so I really have to choose for the tattoo or for my girlfriend. i also think there aren’t many people in belgium with a T? tattoo so it’s 2 against 1. Therapy? OR Girlfriend

maybe i’ll first draw a picture of gemil on my back and than i can see her reaction and if she walks out of the door it’s finished between us :p

Ahh, shucks, did ya miss me?

I’ll like a gemil tattoo, but am worried that I’ve never seen anyone over 40 who had a tattoo done in their twenties where the tattoo didn’t look awful. I know you can get them removed later on, but… well, that’s my view anyway. Not that twenties will be a problem for me for much longer.

And of course, it’s your body - can’t really imagine dumping someone just because for that so if you really want one, go for it.

My mate had an band done on his arm and only dared tell his Mum when his Dad was on his deathbed. This is really true.

He wanted to wait until a moment when his mum wouldn’t bollock him too much.

Seems a bit out of order! I’d love to get a tattoo, but having spent the last 10 years figuring out what to get I doubt it’ll happen. Unless I get really drunk one night and wake up the next day with one! Which is quite a high possibility considering how much I drink…

Sure they fade a bit and start to look a bit old as you get older, but removal isn’t the only option you know. You can get them refreshed to keep them looking lovely. I had my first tattoo 11 years ago and I’m about to have the outline touched up so it looks nice and clear again.

Also, you can get henna tatts that are not so permanent. Perhaps fan’fucking’tastic could see what his girlfriend thinks of getting something like that done instead.

Is that really true? Hmmm, may have to consider matters a bit.

You can also get a tattoo that stayed on the upperskin, it will stay on your body for about 5-7 years, since your body renews everything in 7 years. They also use it as make-up tattoo’s.

Yep that’s true. The tattooist who’s going to do the job explained it all to me but I’m buggered if I can remember what he said. I’m not getting it done until next pay cheque, but I’ll try and get some before and after shots and if you’re interested I’ll let you see what difference it makes.

What’s the idea?
When I have enough money I seriously considering getting a gemil done (to go with my 2 non T? tats), but I only trust one local tattooist round my way - the same one my mum uses for hers.

EDIT: it did take me about 15 years to decide on one, so it’s never too late to do it :)

And yes you can get them reinked and then it looks brand new again.

Apparently the temporary tattoos are not that great because they slowly fade at different levels so you could end up with half a tattoo in a couple of years time.
