Haven’t heard it, I like the riffs they come up with, but there are times when his voice goes off high and I find myself thinking ” why can’t you just keep it as it was”, it just spoils it a bit for me.

Going back, I remember a while back there was a bit of a debate over that nescafe ad, where somebody was adamant it wasn’t Muse, and some of us were, I dunno if it’s already been mentioned, but the initial ads went out with the muse version on it, but the band requested it be taken off..so they did, and replaced it with a new version. Probably old news, but I don’t recall if anybody ever mentioned it on here?

I love the song, although it is somewhat louder than the usual stuff, I’d say it has that typical Muse-sound. Can’t wait to hear the new album!

Regarding that ad, they never gave permission to Nescafe to use their version of Feeling Good. Nescafe simply neglected that and decided to use it anyway. Muse was against the use (please note the poetic element here!) because Nescafe exploits people or something, there’s a whole explanation on their website. Nescafe just had some other band re-record the song, and they’re using that version now.

Nescafe eventully payed Muse for the use of the song and Muse plan to give the money to charity.

Matt Bellamy said the half of the album is very minimal and theres also a couple of moments of overwhelming excessiveness and he also said the album was the best thing they had ever done.
