Yeah, I’ve seen the first series on Dutch TV a few months ago, and I’m now watching series 2 on the BBC (we get BBC 1 & 2 here in Holland). We’re up to episode 20, so you better not be posting any spoilers here!

I quickly glanced over your post to see if there might be spoilers in there, after thinking twice before clicking it… I think 24 is absolutely brilliant, and the second series is even better than the first, IMHO.

Know a man who knows a man who downloads them so I bought the whole season for £20 on VCD - not feeling guilty since I’ll buy the boxset as soon as I can!

As good as you’re gonna get on a vcd, it looked fine bar a couple of times when it pixelated but no real problems. I was well pleased for £20!!

What a shit show! Watched the first season and it was ok but then all this shit happens to the same people again. The Kim story line was daft, yer man just happens to go mad on that mornin and then it spins outta control. Crazy.

I think it’d be better if they actually gave Kim a storyline alongside Jack, rather than keeping them seperate through the whole thing.

That’s cause the station it’s shown on in America has adverts - so to keep it in real time, it takes into account the breaks. They should add a load of extra scenes for us BBC viewers so we don’t feel like we’re missing out :)

I’m not going to go into details of the last episode, because I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone who has yet to see it, but can I just say OMG!

Both a great and frustrating cliffhanger at the end! I must admit that I thought the episode as a whole was a bit disappointing, with a bit too much ‘happy’ stuff in it, but very exciting nonetheless. I liked the second series better than the first, although that was excellent as well.

I have to say I think we were due a bit of happiness cause some of season 2 (ie the torture scenes) were just gruesome, way nastier than the first series.

Theres an alternative torture scene for kate which is mean’t to be more gruesome.

I think the way the first season ended Jack like Hooch said was due a bit of happiness.

Yeah, that’s probably true, however, due to the fact that this series was as gruesome and exciting as it has been, some happy parts of the last episode felt a bit awkward for me, that’s all. Still, a great show!

Nah, I get what you were saying about the cheesy-core Kim/Jack reunited scenes - could have done without that. Could have done without Kim actually, blatantly put there to run around looking hot for the fellas and take valuable screen time away from the man Sutherland. ;)

I don’t mind looking at her, I’ll admit that, but I’d love to see her get shot in the head in the first episode of the next series, as she’s bloody annoying getting into trouble over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and …

again.

The actors who played Nina and Mason fell in love on the set of 24.

Maaaaaan, I need some money! Want to see. Also, my mate asked earlier if the woman who did the thing at the end of season 2 (trying not to spoiler) is the same woman that jumped out of the plane and killed woman 2 in season 1?

Still haven’t seen Phonebooth, which is quite disgraceful of me. Did buy Beat a few weeks ago (ye olde Kiefer / Courteney Love) but haven’t got round to watching it yet. Am lame.
