Ha! Can’t believe I didn’t spot it. Will tell friend immediately, as she will be very smug to have noticed something in 24 that I didn’t, lol

I would berate you for not watching it right away BK but I bought Beat over a month ago and still haven’t so much as read the back so have no room to criticise :)

Yesterday 24 started on German telly, and it’s a great idea for a story, so I’ll keep watching it.

Hoorah! Keep watching, it’s fantastic! My life will be miserable until Season 3 starts. Well, it would be if I didn’t have Fame Academy anyway.

By the way, did anybody mention the nice soundtrack 24 has?
It just came to my mind when at 4:17 New Noise by Refused could be heard in the background.
It’s also a good broadcasting policy by RTL II, the German network presenting 24, to show three episodes of two hours a week, which means we’re through the 24 hours in about four weeks.

Oh, and please everyone, don’t let more information about the plot leak through. Cheers.

BBC 2 just showed one episode every week and then digital viewers could see the next episode straight after on BBC3.Every month BBC 2 they would repeat 4 episodes for people to catch up.

RTE (an irish tv station) they were a full month ahead of the BBC.

How were The Mars Volta?

Strange, but brilliant. The album’s already on the brink of psychedelic rock, but they definitely go one step further on stage.
So the music, especially the long solo passages (e.g. there was no real encore, the band just left the stage for about three minutes with only the bass player doing some improvisations on his own) needs your full attention, no At The Drive-In reminiscences any more. But they still have the energy that was so typical for ATDI.
To sum it up: it was great, but nothing I could listen to too often.
