Who is “Diamond Dave” ?

Daft question, but here goes…

I see the name Diamond Dave here there and everywhere, but I never know if they’re talking about…

1/ Dave Lee Roth
2/ David Coverdale
3/ Some other bloke called Dave…who’s a Diamond of some sort.

Anyone know who DD is?

That’s your answer!

He’s been a good friend of the Therapy?-boys for a long time, also from Ireland. Sometimes still goes on tour with them as t-shirt seller.
He’s got also a radioshow on Totalrock, you can listen live to his show every Wednesday at http://www.totalrock.com
He’s just a great and nice guy!!!

If you have the Bizarre Festival 1998 on video, he’s the guy wearing the Chelsea shirt who introduces the band at the start. He also sings “Iron Man” on the Shock Treatment bootleg from 1994, so he’s been around a while!

He’s kinda small, chubby, has a goatee, and is from Belfast.

Sounds like the guy I bought a t-shirt off at the Wolverhampton gig way back in 2000 or so.

I think it would have been. Really nice bloke, I remember on SP-YF tour, he let me try the T? kagool on for size before I bought it, yep sad loss.
