sunday

#

Started by not_that_kind_of_guy (a story on the radio)

i have a problem with sundays. apparently no-one is allowed to do anything on sundays. that’s fine if it’s for some kind of religious reason or even a personal preference. but unfortunately it doesn’t fit my plan. as such i think sunday should be the day of fun. not getting shitfaced drunk of course as that would make monday bad but i hate it that sunday seems to universally consist of nothing. what a waste of a day. if you fit that plan then by the time you are 70 you will have sat on your bum for ONE TENTH of your life. that’s TEN YEARS! sunday must rock from now on. please be nice in any correspondence. :)

I agree with you, although Sundays are a lot better now than they used to be before the shops were allowed to open. All we need to do is get rid of that religious rubbish off the tv and we’re sorted!

Not sure why you’re quoting yourself and then talk to Bad Karma, though? Either I’m missing something, or it is the alcohol talking ;-)

I love Sundays: If you got wasted it is the perfect day to give your system a chance to rearrange before the evil Monday shows it’s face, on the other hand, if you were the driver or didn’t get pissed for another good reason( IT BETTER BE DAMN GOOD TO CONVINCE ME), you can use Sunday to do do some sports,or watch a DVD…or just relax…

You gonna make promises you never, never keep
(Sunday you need love, monday be alone)
You gonna leave her out on her own

‘Cause sunday you need love, love, monday be alone
(Sunday you need love, monday be alone)
Hey you, you, you, you
Tender young lady
Wonder where you go, where you sleep tonight
(Sunday you need love, monday be alone)
Hey you
Everlovin woman
Beware you don’t pass the borderlines of light, again tonight
(Sunday you need love, monday be alone)
You gonna use her, use her, shape her for your needs

You gonna make promises you never, never keep
(Sunday you need love, monday be alone)
You gonna leave her out on her own

‘Cause sometimes you want her, want her, then again you don’t
(Sunday you need love, monday be alone)
Sunday you need love, love, monday be alone, lone
(Sunday you need love, monday be alone)
Hey you, you, you, you
Tender young lady
Wonder where you go, where you sleep tonight
(Sunday you need love, monday be alone)
Hey you

Beware you don’t pass the borderlines of light, again tonight

Better find someone else ,to treat you well
Better find a good man, to give you some respect

This hasn’t been a bad Sunday, all things considered; Morning tea with mother (sweet relief to my hangover - loved Saturday :D), a relaxing train ride home with a good book and an afternoon of watching Lame Academy, which I had recorded last night. I like Sundays.
