Worst actor ever?

#

Started by dano

So then, it’s still being heralded as Britain favourite soap, but surely Coronation Street has to have the worst actors ever assembled in it’s cast?

We’re trying to find out who exactly is the worst actor in this cess pit of talentless acting, so far it’s neck and neck between Curly Watts and Dev!

I don’t watch Coronation Street or in fact any of the soaps now but i use to years ago and i hated Kevin the guy who was the mechanic is he still in it?I’m not sure what it was about him whether it was his acting skills (or lack of) or just the way the character was written.

kevin is an awful actor and also a prat and yes, he’s sadly still in corrie. The worst actor ever is that guy who was in Heartbeat, I forget his name. He sang the theme tune and he was in eastenders. Also, someone called Charlie in casualty was incredibly wooden with no facial expressions whatsoever.

Yeah, Nick Berry that’s it. He is such a prat. When his wife died in Heartbeat he was such a pathetic actor that they filmed it from like a mile away so you just saw a window with some sad music playing.

The thing about Heartbeat is its set in the 1960’s but its been on tv so long they should be in the early 70’s now.

That’s exactly what I said to my dad a few years ago but he totally didn’t get it. It should have stopped ages ago when it was still vaguely good. Now it’s just boring and I have no clue what The Royal thing was all about

I don’t like it, I try to avoid it but my mum insists on watching it religiously. I liked the tricky dicky storyline though, I watched that in the hope Gail Tilsley and her terrible haircut would be drowned. I was disappointed.

Having seen it recently, there are several forerunners…

Les Battersby, Curly, Dev and that idiot from Boyzone are probably the main culprits. I used to work in teh Sainsbury’s behind the studio, so we;d often get various members of the cast shopping, for the most part they’re nice people, although there was a couple of noticeable exceptions who seemed to be intenet on letting us know they were “celebs”!

sunset beach is hilarious, ever notice how they can’t seem to afford outside shoots? or even people who can act, there are molecules living under rocks on mars that could do better.

and as for keith duffy and his godawful paddywhackery style “acting”, lets hope dev goes after him with a pair of scissors or something.

Ben Affleck in all of his movies, he is a star at playing himself though.

And Sofia Coppola in her role of Mary Corleone in Godfather III. But the great acting of Andy Garcia and Al Pacino compensated for her sad acting performance.

I think it’s a good movie actually, not bad at all to end the trilogy with. It’s not as good as part I & II (which would be quite impossible…), but still very enjoyable.

Maybe he’s one of these people who likes to act up in front of people then? I tell you somebody else who’s like that, Will Mellor! He’s been in work a few times and you always know he’s in because you hear this sudden cocophany of noise. You can see him looking around to see if anybody’s paying attention! You do wonder what goes through somebody’s mind when they crave attention like that.
