I need tourdates!!!!!!!!!!!!

#

Started by RobbyVDH

OK, let’s cut the crap and give me those European T? tourdates…

I need to ask my holiday at work well in advance and lots of cool bands are coming on tour the same period our T? boys are planning to hit the road (Ozzfest, Iron Maiden, Machine Head, …)

So what is confirmed besides Hardenberg and Bochum??

René, since we get along so nicely the last couple of days (:D), you are close to the source: are you aware of any more shows?

As far as I’m concerned nothing has been confirmed, as that’s what I’ve been told by T? so far. As soon as Sarah and I get confirmed tour dates from the band we will add them to the site right away!

OK, since we really start to like each other, I think it’s time you send me that Voodoo Doll promo :D

Much appreciated René and already many thanks in advance

On a serious note (really): don’t you think that a REAL Therapy? couple is entitled to a copy? It’s not very common that 2 people get to know each other through Therapy? or is it? So I think we deserve one ;)

A simple yes they are playing Liverpool/no they’re not playing Liverpool would be really helpful.

After last time though, I probably ought to get my ears syringed first.

Liverpool would be great, I watched Joe Strummers last gig at the Uni, nice small venue.
I missed T? at L2 a few years ago, but watched them at the Royal Court, that was a little big. The hop and Grape in Manc was quite cozy though wasn’t it?

You can always contact T? directly to find out. Just mail them at churchofnoise@therapyquestionmark.co.uk

Will probably try to get back to Newcastle if I can as well, although Leeds would be good for another get-together perhaps?

I get the impression that on the whole tour questions aren’t welcomed by the band, cos if they know, and it’s confirmed, Rene will know, so it will be up here.

I would say that if you are going to ask about DJ sets, contact the record label, seeing how they tend to organise these things, and let the band know.

True, they always get quite nervous when you ask for tourdates… but they have to realize that some people have a “real” job, need to get approval for their holiday well in advance and so it’s quite important to know something like this upfront.

I already bought my tickets for Hardenberg although it is still not on the site… sometimes I have the impression Therapy? are the last to know where they are going to play :D

True, true, but what if they say “yes, this gig is currently planned” and then you buy a ticket, maybe book a hotel room, or even a flight, and then the gig is cancelled?

OK, sometimes this happens, and what you are sayin gis that once it is on a venue site, the venue is responsible, fair enough.

I think perhaps the band don’t announce the tour dates, the management / record company do, and from a business perspective, I guess they would prefer to announce the whole 8 weeks in one go, rather than in dribs and drabs.
More efficient, and a bit more of a surprise.

I have to admit, M, that you are spot on… I did have a, erm.. communication… with Martin where he was a little bit worried, because you booked your flight for the DJ night before he even knew about it.

He wasn’t being off or anything, but he WAS concerned that there was a chance that you might waste some money…

yeah, you are right…but we had a confirmation by the lady from the club and she also said it was confirmed by gerry…so maybe T? are really sometimes the last to know i guess…

Irishlady, yeah, I got the confirmation from Sammi by mail, but you will remember when I was asking Martin he had no idea about it the week before it was happening… so I think you are right, sometimes the band are last.
