What’s the “rarest” T? item available?

#

Started by Shuff

There’s been a lot of talk lately on the trade page of rare T? items, and I’ve been asking myself which is the hardest to find?

Is it:
-Bad Mother single
-Have A Merry Fuckin’ Christmas
-1996 Fanclub CD
-Meat Abstract vinyl single

I’m only posting this for curiosity. It just seems odd to me that all of the above appear semi-regularly for trade, but a Bad Mother single never does.

I think you just answered your own question there! Bad Mother would be the hardest to find of those releases.

Although, the original demo tapes would probably be the rarest of all.

Does that count in the rare items sense? It’s a white label test vinyl with no artwork. For all the early releases, they brought out a limited test run of 10 white promos - I actually have a Babyteeth white label. They’re rare, but not rare official releases, which the items mentioned in the first post are.

Go to GEMM, you should find all those titles a lot cheaper.

Al-I’d say the 4 track Pleasure Death would count as a rare item… cause it’s rare! On those terms you’d also count the white label of Babyteeth, which was valued at £100 nearly 10 years ago.

On a trip to Belgium a long time ago, I bought the Bad Mother single for what was then 270 francs, I’m not sure how much that is in Euro, but I guess it was quite cheap. I had no idea it was so rare.

Title: Really… Diane double single

Is the Diane double single really rare? I’m the only person I know that likes T?, and I picked up the Diane double single in Paris when it came out.

I thought it was a standard release. It never occurred to me that it was rare because I’ve never even seen another Diane single except for the one that I own.
