hurrah! i already have 10 tickets bought - a whole gang of me and mates from work are going..seeing as i work right next to the Cockpit i can keep an eye out for them arriving as well!!!

Can’t wait as the Cockpit is a fantastic venue for them - have seen them there a few times before!

Hoochalobster - you still there? and all you lot that trooped across to Manchester to see them in the Spring? I saw you all in Leeds train station but only realised who you were through these boards…
are you all going??

Will definitely be going to the Leeds gig yeah, we’ll have to have a beer this time :D

I’m not The Cockpit’s biggest fan, it must be said, but seeing T? in a small venue is always gonna be good heh heh heh.

Heyas

Haven’t been to The Cockpit on a Friday for years - last I remember it was Brighton Beach, lol. Still occassionally go to the Garage on a Saturday, but I’m not living in Leeds at the moment so it’s not too often.

Have heard good things about Wendy House but not been myself yet. Am in Leeds this weekend so may suggest it :D

re meeting up, if you want to drop me an email I’ll give you my mobile number so you can text on the night and let me know where abouts you are?

Do you not need to be signed in with a student to get into Leeds Uni? I know the LMU are alright but I always thought LU were fussy about such things.

Will be moving back to Leeds in the next few weeks so will try to check it out then - though I am not a fan of hot places (hence having a downer on the Cockpit ;))

Shall go check email now…

Hooch,

Leeds Met don’t bother signing in - never have done as i’m there a lot on friday nights for ‘Star’.
The Wendy House is a monthly event at Leeds Uni and i guess they’d expect it would attract more of an outside crowd rather than just students, as it was quite an older crowd. SO maybe they do still sign in but maybe not on the monthly nights…
going to see the Darkness tomorrow night at Met - ROCK ON!!!!!!

when you move back to leeds we’llhave to meet up for a beverage…or 7!

There’s the one on that loop under the train station, think it’s called The Comfort Inn, or somewhere like The Hog’s Head maybe, that’s close by. Arts Cafe for cocktails even! :D
