I was just trying to put together a t? b-side cd for myself, and was wondering what were peoples favourite t? b-sides or covers, i think listening to them stuff like pantapon rose from the nowhere single and our love must die are pretty cool, as well as evil elvis obviously…anyone have any favourites?

I think my favourites are probably Totally Random Man and Pantapon Rose (+ Man After Midnight, for pure comedy genius), plus I really love all the acoustic versions they’ve done for b-sides.

Couple of threads you may find useful:

Which is your favourite b-side?
B-Sides Compo

Suing God & 60 Watt Bulb are the best.

Evil Elvis (The Lost Demo) & Kids Stuff are good, too.

And the best B-side covers are Vicar In A Tutu and Breaking The Law.

I didn’t know “Totally Random Man” was considered a B-side. That’s one of my all-time favorite Therapy? tracks, though.

I’d consider an E.P. the same as a single and call it a b-side, but that’s just my opinion - mainly so that I could say TRM was my favourite b-side :D

Therapy? could put out a box set of b-sides! They have so many it’s unreal! That’s one of the most amazing things about this band, they just give the fans so much music! I love it…I wish all bands were like this!! When you read that a band went into the studio and recorded 42 songs, yet when the album comes out there are only 12 songs on it, then the singles they release have live tracks that have already been on singles in the past, or they put soundtrack songs that we already have…that shit sucks!! =)

Therapy? have the right idea, if you record a shitload of songs for an album, release them! Who cares if they’re not as good as the songs on the album…we know that!! That’s what b-sides are, dammit!! =)

Anyway, with all my bitching aside, “Suing God” is definitely my favorite b-side…the song is amazing!!

Almost all T? B-sides are great. But i’d be superb, if they’d record Diane (rock version) + I Wanna Be Your Dog in studio.

Does anyone know anywhere I could find all of Therapy?’s b-sides? I assume somewhere like Kazaa might be the only place now since I’m sure a lot of the singles are out of print.

Being in the US, it’s hard as fuck to find singles with rare Therapy? songs. It’s hard enough just finding the full length albums in stores. I’ve got a few singles, but I’m sure I’ve barely scratched the surface of all they’ve released.

Actually, P2Ps aren’t a great place for Therapy? tracks, there are a few b-sides I don’t have and I can’t find on P2Ps. I’d suggest asking around here and grabbing them from someone else.

I might post my track lists up for the two albums I made. One was from stuff between 1992 - 1995 and the other was from 1996-2001. I think I’ve got pretty much everything in there, apart from a few tracks that I don’t like so intentionally left out (CC Rider, Breaking The Law, to name two).

Here we go…

1992-1995
1. Human Mechanism
2. Opal Mantra
3. Bloody Blue
4. Summer of Hate
5. Sky High McKay(e)
6. Teenage Kicks
7. With or Without You
8. Totally Random Man
9. Speedball
10. Reuters
11. Auto Surgery
12. Nice n Sleazy
13. Tatty Seaside Town
14. Evil Elvis
15. Pantopon Rose
16. Nice Guy
17. Our Love Must Die

1996-2001
1. High Noon
2. Kids Stuff
3. Fat Camp
4. Suing God
5. Denim Demon
6. Where Eagles Dare
7. Vicar in a Tutu
8. Gimme Danger
9. Gimme Gimme Gimme
10. Gimme Gimme Shock Therapy
11. Gimme Therapy
12. Fat Camp II
13. 60 Watt Bulb
14. Bad Karma Follows You Around

It’s like having 2 extra Therapy? albums, which can’t be a bad thing. I’d like to get the unreleased track “Shameless”, as I feel like that would probably be a good one.

My current list for a third rarities album is: (2003-)
1. Freeze The Remains
2. Don’t Try
3. Mama, You Can Call The Ambulance Now
4. Crazy Cocaine Eyes
5. Hard Work and Hope
6. Low Winter Sun
7. Play On

It might seem a bit sad, but I find I’ll listen to b-sides, compilation songs etc. more if I make an album out of them, as when I listen to music I like to put a whole album on.

Yes, as I mentioned in the previous post, I left those out as they’re awful. Well, I don’t like them anyway.

They’re rarities albums for my enjoyment, not complete lists. If I was being complete about it I’d have to include Iron Man and Valentine’s Day too.
