Bozwood, the Astronauts and Winter School. Bozwood were really good, sound much heavier live and even did a S*M*A*S*H cover (although hearing them say this is a cover by a band called S*M*A*S*H when they’re 2/3 of that band with a different bassist was a bit weird), the Astronuts were good fun as always andI’d of paid the enterance fee for their last song alone. Winter School were different, the singers voice is immense and whilst it was fairly laidback compared to what preceded it was enjoyable. Good night for £3!

It was pretty good, bad sound though. Absolutely not the band’s fault… just a shite venue with no acoustics - it’s a big space but they kind of curtain it off for concerts and it swallows up all the sound. Opening bands were okay, missed most of Skew Siskin but they were pretty good. Michael Monroe Band had some cool moves but a bit too glammish for my liking.
But yeah, the problem was the same for all the bands. You were getting most of the instruments but the vocals were way down, so it all sorta lumped into one song. They did ask a couple of songs in if everybody could hear everything and that fixed stuff a bit.
Really cool to see them though. Had a big stupid grin on my face when Lemmy walked on with his hat and all that. New songs were good, Killed By Death was a highlight and a huge version of Overkill at the end. I’d love to see them again in a place with decent sound.
Shame the girl I went with turned out to be thick.

Motorhead tend to have a very muddy sound at the best of times - a combination of Lemmy’s bass sound and Phil’s overly distorted guitar - but hey, always good fun.

Great set. Weird seeing I Disappear in there, didn’t think they’d still play that these days. Although they do pretty much cover the whole back catalogue these days with the exception of the Load albums and St Anger.

They were pretty awesome. The new stuff sounded really, really good and Chino seems to get better every time.
Was cool to pop into HeySatan at the end - sorry I couldn’t tell what you said at some points - mad, ringing ears!

Nomeansno last night @ Camden Underworld. Great gig, small venue, top band, very loud and a full on mosh that has to rate as one of the friendliest I’ve ever been in (although people who are too pissed to stand up on their own should stay at the back of the room!). Also The Pack AD were excellent as support, so much so I bought some vinyl from them, and it made it home in 1 piece!

did read about that and the killing of that dudes friend after the gig on Motörhead forum. Sad thing, very sad! Hope those the bastards will be caught who killed the guy and beat up his friend badly! In your country there´s lots of those CCTV cameras so I bet those fuckers will be arrested and they will be sent to a place where they will miss the upcoming Motörhead tours and records for sure!

Last gig I went to was the Rockstar Energy Taste Of Chaos tour with Halestorm, Buckcherry, Papa Roach and Disturbed.
Halestorm was ok despite the irritating drummer, Buckcherry was just terrible and Papa Roach were ok too.
Disturbed only played 60’ as headlining act which is a real shame in my opinion.
All in all quite a disappointing evening I must admit.

Bit of a contrast but hey ho…was probably the oldest person at Pendulum by a good 10 years and was not impressed by the ferocity of the so called ‘wall of death’. Hope they have a safety certificate for that kind of thing! Back in my day we…er…forget it
Other than that, despite the £3.50 for a can of shite lager, not a bad night!
JCC was, as always, fucking hilarious. What was it that bore you? Was it some kind of bat? They can’t think of a good word for you. I can: tw*t!
