Was I the only womble at the show in Florence, or why did nobody post anything about it? Anyway, still awake after now about 63 hours without a decent slumber, I’ll do it:

To see T? at the Auditorium Flog in Florence was my first ever show in Italy, so I made a new ‘Länderpunkt’ (groundhoppers will know what that means).
It was a brilliant show, Andy being sky high (dunno what he took or maybe he was just plain enthusiastic) so that I can’t count how many times he said ‘Grazie Firenze’ this evening.
They started the show with a Troublegum power package: Knives followed by Screamager. The crowd didn’t seem to expect such an opening as it took them a while to get going. But you Italians then started to have the hell of a party and T? seemed to enjoy it as much as I did. I cannot recall the exact set list but it was the usual shuffling of the songs they played this tour (e.g. Who Knows, my personal fave from HA, and Trigger Inside included, Church Of Noise not) with two exceptions…
Andy and Martin playing two verses from Loney, Cryin’ Only and the band playing again two verse from Our Love Must Die, Andy stopped it then by saying he didn’t know the rest of the words.
Oh, and they had a proper intro and outro for the show. They entered the stage to some of Wendy Carlos’ classic-goes-wurlitzer stuff from A Clockwork Orange and after they finished their set T?’s version of You Are My Sunshine was played.
So it was a brilliant show at a nice club (the disco afterwards was great). Thanks again, penn, for posting the map, with that we had no problem at all finding the club.

PS: I hope, Sam doesn’t get into trouble for this: She said she doesn’t really care whether there are any MVD singles left for the UK. I asked her this after buying three for myself (actually not for myself but for other people helping them out to get one :o)

PPS: René, I don’t know if you’re going to put up pics from this tour again, but if so I could send you a bunch of nice shots from this gig.

I was in Bassano as well on Friday and what a great show (Ice, the owner of the Transilvania Club in Milan where Tpy? played in May was there too), but this one was even better, definitely my favourite Italian show so far. I talked to someone who was wearing a t-shirt of the Infernal Love tour and they said Therapy? had been in Florence in 1995 and played a venue that was twice bigger than the Flog and twice as crowded. But hey, on this Saturday the audience was great just the same, I glanced behind me a few times just to see all the guys moshing and jumping and singing along. Everyone went a little bit tearful during A Moment Of Clarity. I did during Lonely Cryin Only and nearly wetting my panties hearing that bit of Our Love Must Die. I trusted Andy would sing it all but that was better than nothing! Didn’t manage to get a setlist, I just remember the first two songs were Knives and Screamager while in Bassano they kicked off with Nowhere and Teethgrinder. After that I can’t recall the exact order, however Dancin WM, Potato Junkie, Turn, Stop It You’re Killing Me, Straight Life, Rust/If It Kills Me were on the setlist too.
Cheers to everyone that made that night in Florence so special, thanks to the guys from HellFire Promotions, to the mad people in the crowd (you can tell if a show’s great from the number of bruises you get), to the band who supported Tpy? (anyone remember their name? I just know they’re from Livorno-place not far from Florence- and they rock big time), and to Therapy? themselves for putting up these brilliant concerts and for being so kind to their fans as usual

But as I’m not such a big fan of Sick Of It All-style hardcore, I may be forgiven for that.
I wasn’t in the moshpit as usual, didn’t want to offend the other passengers on our flight back home next morning with our smell of dried sweat. :)
So we stood on Martin’s side. (I was having a T? back pack with me).

Irishlady, I don’t know what I said that made WickedMan think this, but I’m guessing there was some miscommunication there, as I will definitely be putting photos of the current tour online!
