Dead Kennedys

I recently got a live video - live at the: On Broadway, by chance. I must say my liking for the band has been increased by the way Jello biafra performed onstage - theres a particulary hilarious moment in a song called jock o rama ( about a star quaterback having his neck broken). But asides that their first albumn definately is a gem, particulary - Lets Lynch the the landlord , I would love too see T? cover it.

he’s a bit mental, isn’t he? what’s with the gloves in that video? good stuff though.

Neil used to play California Uber Alles in an old band (The Beyond). in fact, there’s a recording of that from a gig where T? supported them for one of the first times they played in England. man, it was hot in that club :D

I’d love to hear T? cover Holiday in Cambodia. If they do the same with that song as they did with Isolation, HiC will become a real calssic! (It already is off course, but the DK version is a bit flat)

There’s a good Faith No More cover of it. Check it out.

In fact, there’s a whole cd with DK covers called Virus 100 with bands like Faith No More, L7 and, of course, Napalm Death doing Nazi Punks Fuck Off.

Absolutely agree: ‘We’ve got a bigger problem now’ Most lyrics are still very relevant to our times.
