Hi, this is a new topic, where i’ll put all the info on how to connect to the server and also where we will announce what new we have uploaded to the server.
Lets keep the other topic (“FTP server (troubleshooting)”) just to post your errors and problems you have connecting to the server and their solutions, and not mix those two up, ok?

How To Connect:

First you need an FTP Client software, I suggest using FlashFXP, but others are welcome, too (CuteFTP, WS_FTP, etc) as long as you DO NOT use internet explorer to access the server, your speeds will be slow and you will not be able to resume your downloads/uploads that way..

The Settings for my server are:

IP/Server Address: u2neat.ath.cx
port: 21
User Name: therapy
Password: limbo

Passive Mode: ON (this is usually under the program’s options, for example, at FlashFXP you can find it under Options->Preferences->Proxy/Firewall/Ident

After you have connected, the whole proccess of downloading/uploading is like working with windows explorer, you copy files from your disks to my server when you upload, and you copy files from my server to your hard disk when you download. NOTE: You can only upload files inside the #Uploads# folder.

Ofcourse i must UNDERLINE that you are welcome to download the official stuff like albums and singles ONLY if you can’t buy them anywhere else… so i give access to download ‘em only because i know first hand how hard it is to get an old album or single… but if you can buy it, then go ahead and do it, this is a fan server not a pirating one, ok?

Tim my friend,
you shouldn’t ask, whatever you see missing from the ftp and you have it, you know it’s welcome here!!!
Thanx a lot for all your help ;)

P.S. there is a folder inside the Uploads called lowlands, is it yours? if it is you know you can just resume (if it’s not yours on the other hand, you should upload it from scratch… or the files might get messed up..)

Please do not upload Pleasure Death/Babyteeth/Caucasian Psychosis to the FTP server, and remove them if they have already been uploaded.

The guidelines state you can trade in copies only if original versions are no longer available to buy commercially. As has already been pointed out, these items are still quite easy to purchase.

I appreciate your disclaimer, U2_neat, but really these songs should not be on the server at all.
