I haven’t said hello and introduced myself yet…despite having already put some posts on here

Anyway, I’m Jason, from Liverpool, I’m 20 and studying a Music degree at University…erm, and I’ve only been into Therapy? for about 5 months when I bought ‘Troublegum’ in one of my traditional shopping for CD marathons (average of 15-20 CD’s a go :o)- fell in love with that album and now building the collection up ;)

Anyway, hello to you all…self-promotion over :p

hi and welcome to the wom…

so what made you buying troublegum all of the sudden? you heard about it or just bought it, with not knowing what to expect?

ohh yeah and lots of fun with building up your collection…in some cases you will need lots of luck :)…but all the struggle is worth it, i would say :)

Hello and A-ha! I take it your signature is from the second series of Alan Partridge ? :) Loved the second series, not as good as the first one, but maybe as good as the one where he hosted a chat-show.

In my flat that was probably one of our favourite lines. “Back of the net!” “She was a biiig woman. Tempted to say she was big-hearted but that would be bullshit”. Oh I’m cracking up.

I’m a huggggggge Alan Partridge fan- have to agree that the 1st series is better than the 2nd. But then again one of my classic lines ‘Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! etc…he hasn’t heard me! Dan! Dan! etc’ is from the second series…so yeah, I’m a bit of a fan ;)

Buying Troublegum, I cannot particularly remember the reason for buying the album, I’ve got a mate whose tastes are evry similar to mine and he’s liked Therapy? for 2 years, so I think it might have been a case of ‘well if he likes it, I probably will too.’

I was right again :p

Get the DVD of the first series of Alan Partridge. We all ended up buying it for each other in my flat last Christmas. D’oh! :) Great minds, etc.. Some of the out-takes are really funny, although the extended scene in the car is a bit crap.

T? are very good indeed and very diverse! Good luck with being a professional drummer, I wish I’d studied music at uni instead of business :o BORING! Who’s your fav T? drummer? I think I like Fyfe or Neil most. Can’t decide yet.

Oh I’ll be there, of course! Are you a scouser then?

I’m not sure about my favourite T? drummer yet…probably go for Neil, mainly because he’s the existing one and I might as well give him all of my support! ;)

I like Fyfe’s “on-the-beat” style. He was amazing. I once read an interview where he was described as “metronomically” limbed. Graham was perhaps a bit looser. I really like Neil’s drumming though. Definitely more what I’m into.
