Troublegum, white cd

#

Started by White Psycho

I had to replace my copy of troublegum because of it being left too near a microwave  So today I bought a copy for the great price of £6, anyway the cd is white whereas my other copy is black. Any ideas?

My collegue has one and the outro of the last track takes a lot longer than mine… :( it’s not white but it’s the same design but the colors (black and silver) are just the other way around.

I’ve never heard of a white version before. Is it just plain white or is the dustbin lid actually coloured white?

Hahaha, is that just “Away, away, away, away…” for twenty minutes? :D

Yep!

It is kinda annoying though when you’re waiting for the cd changer to move onto the next cd, and you’re too arsed to get up and change it manually :)

I wonder has anyone actually listened to the entire 23 minutes of it, right through to the end, without forwarding it?

If someone has, I doubt he/she is the life and soul at parties! :D

23 minutes? Sounds like fucking torture :) Love T?, but I can’t stand that song “You are my sunshine”. Do they just loop the bit in the European version or does he play the full song around 10 times?

During “You are my sunshine”, on the UK/European version, the song skips on “away” for about 30 seconds before slowly fading out.

On the US/Canadian version, the “away” doesn’t fade out, it just keeps skipping for 23 minutes.

The song itself isn’t looped, just the “away” part is.

Painful.

23 minutes.. Jesus Christ. I don’t know if this has been asked before, but why? Couldn’t they have included earlier released material as bonus material for the US instead of 23 minutes of “away”?

It was obviously a bit of a joke, but I agree that it’s rather silly.

Perhaps a Troublegum with Pantopon Rose & Evil Elvis tagged on as bonus tracks, should’ve been the answer!? :D

Actually, I remember Michael saying on this board that the original idea was to have a crazy sample of gunfire and screaming etc… after Brainsaw, instead of “You are my sunshine”, as the hidden track. That would’ve been cool.

What was the one where they were gonna have the sound of someone banging on the door and shouting ‘freeze! police!’? I think they decided it would be too mean as people might flush their drugs or something…

That was the original intention for the ending of Troublegum!

Actually, it’s stated on the CD “made in Canada”. I suppose on the US CD is stated “made in USA”. I was talking about the country of manufacturing, not about North America or something like this.

BTW, Mexico is North America too.

After eight minutes and forty seconds they stop singing “away, away, away…”. There is just this “scraping” sound which goes on and on until the song is finished. Very entertaining
