Therapy? are great!

No really, they are!

I’ve been thinking that they’ve been my favourite band for 10 years now (and I take this opportunity to scoff at those who said I would regret my tattoo as they were ‘just a phase’) and sometimes I take for granted that I love them and forget that I really do. Anybody else pissed and philosophical this evening?

Wait till you’re 80 and your tattoo is all wrinkled :)

But you’re right, they ARE great! The first record I ever bought was a Therapy? record, and from all the records I bought back then they’re one of the only bands I still listen to.

I have the same thing. I have never supported a band this much, I’ve got most of their singles and all the albums. It is not a groupie thing but I just like them very much.

They are just fantastic and original!

Ci? - they are all fair points and I try my hardest not to submit on those grounds. But then I spent two hours of my life this afternoon watching Justin Timberlake in concert so I’m really not very good at avoiding things I know are bad for me!

And, to keep on topic, I would like to take this moment to apologise to my favourite band for discussing lesser beings in your homage thread. We all love you more, promise :D

Don’t worry T?, if you’re reading this *I* would never mention any of the aforementioned rubbish bands in a homage thread of yours. *Feeling smug* :)

Some more alcohol, philosophy and monologues (can’t help it  ) on Christmas Eve. Here we go. do not take me too seriously though ;)

“You heard? Our Caterinetta is into therapy” some friend said
“Oh no, poor girl. what happened to her? she’s ill?” said another
“Hang on, I meant the band…” said the first
“Ooh..what, the band with the questionamark? Poor girl. What happened to her???”
“…”

…It’s the sympathetic look on the faces of people while they listen to you talking about Therapy? once again (That Says Her/His Love For Their Music Is Something Beyond Human Comprehension)

…Or perhaps it’s the silly smile of yours that you can see reflected in the eyes of people you’re having a chat with, when you raise the subject “Therapy?”
…It’s when you keep buying T? records to your mates for Xmas although you know they still won’t listen to them.
…When you text everyone you know after a T? concert to let them know how great it was and what they missed just because you need to tell someone.
…It’s when you get your hands on a bootleg then run up to your best friends shouting, “You gotta listen to it, I was there! I was at this show! You can hear me clapping me hands!!!”
…It’s when you meet new friends and while talking about music you feel too shy to name a favourite band (you don’t want everyone to think you are this fanatical) so you name a few (leaving T? at third place). They stop you right after you said Therapy? to ask you: “Wow, so you like Therapy??”
“Oooh Well, it’s more than just ‘liking them’. Hmmm, you see, this band…ah, Therapy?. Aah. Cool.”

And it’s telling a friend that the voice shouting for Teethgrinder on the Official fan club 1996 cd is yours and that you almost jumped off the balcony in Den Haag. His reaction being: “aren’t you a bit too old for that now 3ddo?” No, my friend, it seems you are! :D

I’ve been a T? fan for ten years now, and it’s fan-fucking-tastic! Another ten years will do just fine. I don’t need any other medicine, apart from an occasional jump from a balcony perhaps…;)
