i love’em too, for me their first album is their best, after 1980 it went downhill with ‘em i think, but the ramones still were one of the best punkbands ever
i don’t really have one favourite number ‘cos, well, they’re all the same

I love the Ramones, but they’re very same-y. Favourite song is (cliche) Blitzkrieg Bop, favourite album is “Rock’N’Roll Highschool” and favourite member… Joey :)

Don’t know who’s my favorite member though, my favourite song I guess is Durango 95, my favourite album, I’ll go for a compilation then… ramones mania!! But what I liked most of them was their haircuts!!!

I think the best way to get into Ramones is by their live albums like Loco Live ‘coz they’re so much more powerful on stage as on any studio album.
If you want to have all the hits get the Mania cd, it;s a best of.

Loco live is indeed a great live cd, it’s funny if you haven’t listened to their studio recordings for a while, the songs are so slow than, but that doesn’t take away they’re amazing!!!

Download the MxPx cover of “The KKK Took My Baby Away”. It’s pretty cool. Marilyn Manson’s cover of it SUCKS :)

Well, it’s interesting, but I didn’t think the slowed-down style suited it much.

I think the RHCP cover was the best on the Ramones tribute album. The Metallica cover of “53rd and 3rd” was good, nothing fantastic. The Offspring cover of “I Wanna Be Sedated” was unimaginative, all they did was record it with better production. Can’t remember all the covers right now, it’s been a while since I heard the album.

I love The Ramones too. For me my music collecting started from The Ramones… I have all of their records. Funny thing is that i can listen Rocket To Russia and Mondo Bizarro side by side. Usually people like only the “old stuff” OR the “new stuff”.

Joey and Dee Dee, Rest In Peace
