I really like this song by the band The Cult at the minute called She sells sanctuary, does anyone else have any strange tunes embedded in their mind?

Good song Alroy!

For me I’ve had the entire United By Fate Album by Rival Schools stuck in my head for the last two weeks. Most specifically the song Everything Has It’s Point.

I’ve been playing “Love On The Rocks With No Ice” by the Darkness a lot lately, but that’s mainly because I play along to play the guitar solo after buying the tab book for Permission to Land.

Other than that, “Price Of Reality” by Amen. Listening to both albums a lot lately.

Ha ha, THAT’S the name of the Cult tune that I think sounds like “Times Like These” by the Foo Fighters - I could never think of it before, thanks man! The guitar parts sound very similar to these ears anyway!

Right now my favourite tune is probably “Domination” or “Cemetary Gates” by Pantera… been listening to their ‘best of’ for the last couple of months, great stuff.

So I’m not alone in my theory that that song is such a giant ri(p-o)ff

The Sound - New Dark Age.

That’s also because after fifteen years I ran into an old friend from the past, with whom I shared a lot of good music, wine and marihuana during the early eighties. You could say we ‘grew up’ together. I made him watch the videos on this site, and today he went to buy his first T? record!

New Dark Age was our anthem in those days. The best performance of the eighties I saw probably was The Sound at the No Nukes Festival in Utrecht: they finished the show with this song. Those days…

And this one is probably going to piss off some of you:

The Rasmus - First day of my life

It’s just so damn catchy!

To be honest my T? collection is standing next to my Metallica one…

Nevertheless I picked again a Metallica CD today, the live show from Arnhem which I got this week and which is really good ;)

But tomorrow I’m cruising to Germany (which means spending 2.5 hours in the car) and it will be Therapy? all the way :D
