Metal or Punk?

#

Started by Superunknown

The question Therapy? are asked on the DVD, too.

For me Metal. It’s kind of corny, but it’s way more fun than Punk. Although, theoratically I would prefer attitude over playing skills.

punk for me, but not that cheezy 90’s wannabe stuff, only old school will do
i also listen more to bands who are influenced by punk without playing punk themselves(indie, noise pop,…)

I find *most* punk rather boring in the music department.

Punk - grew up indie, so have atrocious knowledge of metal.

Fairly useless on indie as well, expect for Carter USM.

Tragic, really

Today my girlfriend gave me Scopophobia for my b-day. Now that I’ve finally seen it, I understand what this thread is about and consider my previous post bullshit. Apologies for the confusion ;)

For me it’s metal from the 90’s and punk from the late 70’s early 80’s. Last night I watched a video of a 1980 concert of SLF in Germany. It’s almost like watching T? I think I know why Andy chose punk.

3ddo, you didn’t have Scopophobia already? I thought you were a T? freak and owned absolutely everything they’d put out. Happy Birthday in any case :) I didn’t think the Q & A on Scopophobia was that good, to be honest. Still a brilliant DVD though :)

The band should do a Q&A on the site, with questions from WoMbles!

pfft…metal or punk?
very hard decision…well, i guess i would go for metal followed by punk very close behind…or shall i call it dirty rock’n’roll…that would include both no?

and i found out, that it depends on the season..in winter i prefer metal and in summer it’s most times more the punk direction

According to my addicting to punk, I still believe “Babyteeth” is the best T? album ever ;)
