OCS shouldn’t be mentioned here, on account of not being great, unless you mean as in ‘great big pile of poo’.
Cast did split up, but John Powers is rumoured to have got back with Lee Mavers & written new material, so there may be a new La’s album on the way.

I still have the feeling that Sepultura is not really Sepultura without Max… and although he tries really hard, Soulfly is by no means equal to the old Sepultura, not even close :(

What happened to Moist? They had a really catchy single in about…94?

There was a third, You’ve Got To Believe In Something, from 1996, it was better than Turn It Upside Down, but couldn’t come up with Pocket Full…
I think they’re a good example that too much success can be bad for a band (it’s the same with Soul Asylum).

Prono For Pyros was Perry Farrel from Jane’s Addiction other band wasn’t it? Were those guys any good.
Kerbdog split up and went on to become Wilt. They were the perfect example of a great band being fucked by a huge record label. Vocalist Cormac Battle hosts a radio show on 2Fm now.
Someone mentioned Prong earlier on. There was an interview with them on Blistering.com a few weeks ago if your interested.

They were really good. the music was quite close to Jane’s Addiction, but on stage it was a nice show with gogo dancers and all that excitement male gig goers need. Check out their self titled debut album from 1993, really great stuff.

I don’t think it will be a difference whether J Masic is making nmusic under the name of Dinosaur Jr or his own name (plus some fog). It’s like evan Dando or Lemonheads, they’re just the same. Though I’d love to hear Freakscne again live.

Butthole Surfers released “the weird revolution” in 2001. As far as I know they’re not disbanded.
Gibby (the singer) released a cd in 2004: “Gibby Haynes & His Problem”. He has also been in the studio recently working on a new album…
Does anyone know what happened to China Drum / The Drum?

and my personal favourite… The Yo- Yo’s, although The Wildhearts Yahoo group reckons they’re back with a new line up and some gigs coming up, Danny never said anything about them at Ginger’s Archer gig in November though.
