Should Terrorvision reform?

#

Started by Citizen Erased (confused again)

A lot of people seem to be fans of the sadly missed ‘Vision, I suspect because they made 5 fantastic albums before sodding off to do whatever they’re doing now. But given that they have split, should they reform? Could any good come from it? Should they jump on the nostalgia bandwagon? Are there great TV tunes still waiting to be written?

(Before changing the message boards’ software in August 2007 this discussion contained a poll, which may return in the future)

Ahh, yes a poll, there would have been one, but I, um pressed the wrong button…

Sarah, when you’re back, could you do the honours? A yes - reform but only play old stuff/yes and play new stuff too/no they were always crap/no they’ll ruin a good thing thing should suffice.

of course terrorvision should reform. they were great as a live band. especially when they got the water pistols out. which, actually, seemed to be at every gig.

Always thought that ‘If I were you’ was possibly the best song for playing live they ever wrote, but RUS is definitely my favourite album of theirs.

Sarahs are common as muck in the UK, there were four of us in my class at school.

Anyway yeah, get Terrorvision back together and writing new material even though we’ll probably be disappointed.

Am almost sure you mean that there’s a lot of Sarahs, not that they have no class, although I guess that both could be true.

i saw terrorvision a few times but can honestly say anything after the ‘how to make friends…’ album was a bit poor. Can’t see ‘em reforming though, although as a one off on the wildhearts/therapy? dates would be fantastic.

I disagree. They were a fun, bouncy band and the gigs were brilliant. You couldn’t fail to have a good time! (especially when I saw them it was free!)

How To Make Friends… is their most popular album. It even got them on the cover of Smash Hits, for God’s sake! It’s the only album of theirs that I think is even remotely good.

They should reform and release new material. Good to go was disappointing but their last cd ‘First to Last’ was brilliant and it was a shame they had to split

Anybody got ‘Take the money and run’? Top 2cd recording of their last gig in Bradford. It comes with a (frankly disappointing) interview DVD, in which they say they’d consider reforming ‘if the right money was on the table’.
