Dream band

#

Started by Jello Biafra

What if you could put together a dream band only 1 vocalist 1 drummer 1 bass player and 2 guitarists.Cause this is a dream scenario dead people may be used… Mine would be

Layne Staley - Vocals
Jimmy Page - Guitar
John Bonham - Drums
Noel Redding - Bass
Slash - Guitar

There would be some interplay between slash and Jimmy Page kinda like the stuff lizzy used to do with harmonies and trading licks…

Here’s 1 more

Johnny Rotten - Vocals
The guitar fella from Abba - Guitar
Klaus Flouride - Bass
Dave Grohl - Drums
Dan Hawkins - Guitar

I left the therapy guys out as thats a bit obvious (they are the dream band)

I think they’re a brilliant band and love most of their albums. If you don’t like them, fine.

However, I didn’t pick him because he’s a nice guy, because apparently he isn’t, but because he’s a hell of a guitarist. If you’d pick every other guy over Dave Mustaine based on guitar playing skills alone, there’s something seriously wrong with you.

hey that’s grand, it’s just me and the fact i have no time for megadeth whatsoever.
haven’t really thought about who i’d put on guitar but it would probably be someone like Rob Flynn or Andreas from Sepultura.

Maybe a bit too much Tool, but fortunately there’s the odd one out.

bass - Michael McKeegan
drums - Danny Carey
guitar - Mick Ronson
guitar - Adam Jones
vocals - Chriss Cornell or Eddie Vedder (Lenny Kravitz! says my girlfriend)

and if I had to add a keyboardplayer, I’d choose Martijn Spierenburg of Within Temptation.

I could swear I saw all of them play together. But then again I could be mistaken. ;)

One drummer:

And other line:

But what kind of music these bands would play is hard to tell. :D
