Best Fictional Band

#

Started by Andy D

Which band from a rock movie you like do you like best?

The first one needs no explenation
Strange Fruit is from Still Crazy
Stillwater is from Almost Famous
Steel Dragon is from Rockstar
and I fucking forgot to include Lestat from Queen Of The Damned! Shit!!!

(Before changing the message boards’ software in August 2007 this discussion contained a poll, which may return in the future)

Actually, I have a fictional band called Spax with one of my ex-flatmates. The lyrics are mega-offensive, so we’ll probably never gig, hence our fictional status.

No really, the movie is brilliant!

Byt the way, why aren’t the Ruttles in this poll?

Just remembered - ‘BAD NEWS’

I have only seen this once and i need to find it again - they were the worst fictional band - which should have them in the running for the best! They even played at Donnington!

I even had their Bohemian Rhaspody version as a single.
But how fictional are bands that actually play gigs?

Um - they were comediens that pretended to play a gig to get stuff thrown at them - plus, Spinal Tap sort of played gigs didn’t they?

Were Bad News before or after the Young Ones?

You could’ve change your vote if only the mods weren’t controlling the polls in stead of the creator of the poll.
