well, i just have to share this with s.o…

as we all know, Schalke 04 is having it’s 100th birthday this weekend…well that’s nothing that shocking…but i really don’t know what i shall think about this: i just heard that there will be even a musical about schalke and they hope it will become really famous…

well, as i’m from gelsenkirchen i’m normally with schalke, but i think this is just embarassing.
and of course one of the songs will be: “steht auf wenn ihr schalker seid”

You didn’t mention the name of the musical, were you too ashamed to do it?
It’s called “Null Vier - An Gott kommt keiner vorbei” (i.e. 04 - noone gets past god).
What comes next? Schalkology as a subject at schools in Gelsenkirchen?

@Robby
I was always willing to forgive Belgians their strange taste in music, but to suggest to anybody to become a Dortmund fan is like listening to Scooter as a T? fan.

Yeah well, you clearly don’t understand any Belgian humour :o

Kind of odd remark that you think the Belgians have a strange taste in music, listening to German radio makes me think exactly the same of you Germans :p

Only in our uncivilzed, rural parts like Hessen.

Don’t be so harsh to me, Robby. :o
What comes next? Do I have to admit that Metallica are great?
I swear I’ll never say anything against Belgium anymore.

Just one final question. This is a thread about football. How come belgians are allowed to post here? :p

Whiskey or Guinness flavoured? :)

To bring this topic on a higher cultural level (and because we’re now dealing with chocolate), I got some reading recommendation:

Keith Lowe - New Free Chocolate Sex

It’s a romantic comedy circling around chocolate bars.
